I'm brand new to WAB Dev and have looked at lots of documentation, but wanted practical advice before diving in.
We are struggling with standard WAB wiping out our prebuilt queries when we have webmap problems or update (add/delete/move the order of) layers in our webmaps. We have standardized data schemas and are rebuilding the exact same queries in the widget for about 20 apps every few months. Losing the query definitions seems somewhat random.
Can we build a custom query widget that holds our queries in WAB Dev, so we can re-apply our queries with code instead of by GUI like we were doing in WAB, and then reuse these in multiple apps? The data schemas aren't changing, so it seems like a pre-built custom query widget would hold the queries properly.
