Water Utility Network Editing - option to add multiple points in same location?

Is there an option in the config file (or could there be) that would allow multiple points to be created at the main? In this screenshot you can see 4 points representing meters. After running the Add Laterals to Connection tool only one point was created on the main and 4 laterals were connected to it.
