I'm looking to apply the Wave Exposure Model to my seagrass bed restoration model but I'm having difficulty running the application.  Is the newest version, 1.4, usable on ArcGIS 10.0 or do I have to continue to wait like with ArcHydro for a new version?  I installed the program and get this Run-Time Error Message after I agree with the disclaimer:

'2147221002 (800401f6)':
ArcGIS product not specified.  You must first bind to an ArcGIS version prior to using any ArcGIS components.

I'm new to WEMo so I'm not sure if installing the program in C:\\ProgramFiles was the correct place of if it needed to be opened via ArcGIS as an extension.  Please help me figure out how to run my WEMo.

Thanks,
Justin

Hello Guys,

I am also facing the same error using a separate script (Conversion of ESRI TO PFO). Did you figure out the reason for the same and if so what will be the possible solution to it.

Avani

WEMo is here:

NCCOS | Download the Wave Exposure Model (WEMo)

It does not look like it has been updated since 9.x.

Here's an old archived thread from the proto-GeoNet with some details. It's my opinion that even if you solved this problem as described in this thread you would be likely to run into ArcObjects incompatibilities with 10.x that would require more coding.

How do I check out a Spatial Analyst licence wi... | GeoNet Preview

I honestly think the best approach would be to find a spare machine and install ArcGIS 9.3 on it. Getting your hands on that may be difficult however (unless you have one around) because 9.x has been in retired status almost four years.
