I am using ArcHydro tool for delineate my Basin Area, I don't understand the concepts behind some steps:
Here is the steps:
1- First I have to Use raster calculator and I use this equation: (DEM+0.5)*10
2-Int (the result from first step)
3- Set Target Location
4- Sink Processing
5- Sink Evaluation
6- Sink Selection
7- Fill Sinks
is there anybody who can clarify those above steps for me?
why we need to have a integer DEM?
