If  SCS CN method is used in area except North America, how can we obtain the soil hydrology group map? For this data, there is a USA SSURGO - Soil Hydrologic Group in the United States, but for projects in other parts of the world, I used data downloaded from several websites (EARTHDATE and https://www.futurewater.eu/projects/hihydrosoil/). The difference between the SSURGO data in the United States and the data downloaded from other websites is quite large. Is there a better way to obtain this data?

Unfortunately and to my knowledge, systematic soils data at high resolution do not exist globally.  250m resolution seems to be the "best" global dataset.  Locally, there might be better data, but they are often not readily available and have to be obtained from local agencies on case-by-case (and region-by-region) basis.

Would be interesting to hear other opinions and/or pointers to some "hidden gems" of global soils data.  It is an important, but not well addressed topic.
