GIS data exporting error in Hec-GeoRAS

When I try to export RAS data using HEC-GEORAS I get the following error message:

Failed to update Control file!
C:\Program Files\HEC\HEC-GeoRAS\bin\NewRasControl.xml

I am currently using ArcGIS 10.0, Arcview / ArcMap...

Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue will be greatly appreciated...

The �??failure to create intermediate XML file�?� error is possibly linked to the presence of DEM inside the geodatabase. I had a sample dataset from one of the users with the same error , and moving the DEM from inside the geodatabase to outside to a folder location fixed the issue. The DEM was deleted from the geodatabase. It seems that the GIS Data Exchange is not able to export the geodatabase to a XML file if there is a DEM contained in it. I am investigating. For now, I would advise users to check on it and make sure that DEM is NOT inside a geodatabase.

I removed a DEM from my geodatabase and it fixed the problem. Thank you Amit!
