Geodatabase Compatibility between different versions of GIS and Hydro tools

Does anyone know whether or not geodatabases created in 10.1 will be compatibile with version 10.0? Will geodatabases created using Hec-GeoRAS 10.1 and Hec-GeoHMS 10.1 (when it comes out) be compatible with Hec-GeoRAS 10.0 and Hec-GeoHMS 10.0?

I know that individual files can be exported from the newer geodatabases in 10.0 to be used in version 9.3.1. However, that sometimes can be just another step that is somewhat time consuming.

Any information will be appreciated.

Basically ArcGIS 10 can open and edit a 10.1 geodatabase BUT will not have access to 10.1 functionality and will not be able to edit data, such as network datasets or mosaic datasets that are using 10.1 functionality.
