Failed to import RAS data!

Hi,

I am using ArcGIS 9.3 and HEC-RAS 4.1.0 to model flood inundation with HEC-GeoRAS to export/import files. I have completed HEC-RAS analysis and tried to import the result into ArcGIS environment to see the flood inundation area. But my repeated attempts are failed with the following error messages:

• Failed to import RAS data!




• Failed to read RAS data!


• Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Any suggestions regarding this problem are highly appreciated.

Set it to the classic import method instead of "new" and it should work.

You have to define the spatial reference of your Grid. Then try to execute a new analysis (RAS Mapping/Layer Setup).
