Since you have the raster, why not use the Zonal Statistics tool with the watershed polygons?  I don't think the intersect of the polygons with each other will get where you need, but the Zonal Statistics as a Table or Tabulate Area. ... View more

I would not consider it an oversight, the functionality is still available with ArcInfo Workstation as it was before.  All of the coverage tools are available, but need Workstation to process them.  Workstation is a separate download from the customer care portal and once it is downloaded the tools will be accessible. Once you have imported the SDTS, then you can proceed to use the Copy Raster tool.  All of the coverage conversion tools require an ArcInfo license as indicated here. ... View more

If when you try to examine the spatial extent of the output raster and it is vastly different than the original, then perhaps the raster data you have has some other issues involved.  Can you try exporting the particular landcover class to a new raster prior to converting to see the spatial extent and projection is correct?? ... You could use another DEM and then utilize the interpolate shape tool to make the lines 3d.  The caveat is that now you are using another DEM that may or may not match up to the time frame of your lidar data.  This may cause some interesting effects where the breaklines and the lidar meet, but there is no way to not derive the elevation of the lines from either the new terrain, which will not create much effect or use the other data, which might have a large effect. ... Transterritorial - The mac portion may be the problem depending on the path and also whether that drive can be accessible from the MAC side as well. The most stable version of ArcGIS on MAC is still when it is loaded via Bootcamp. I think that for the rest, if these DEMs are Esri GRIDs you should consider the path to the raster.  I have seen issues with spaces, leading number file names and special characters.  If the path to your raster contains these, then I would recommend changing the path or moving the rasters.  In terms of spaces in the path, I have seen issues on certain systems and not other systems on the same network.  Personally, I have added up to 14 spaces in the folder path for my test machine and not had an issue.  However, I have also see a space being the cause of a problem for a user.  So consider the path wisely. This can be a tricky problem when programs export their data to a format that is recognized in ArcMap as something else.  I encourage you to take a look at the supported raster information. If your original data was in UTM and you projected the data to a new coordinate system, then did you change datums?  If so did you specify a transformation in the map document?  You may need a transformation specified for the data to line up correctly.
