The query definition would be the exact filename of the raster file used in mosaic dataset, right? Bcoz looking on the overview folder, the name of the files there are different.

Thank you Jake. You are such a big help but I still need your expertise please. We need to remove one raster file from the mosaic dataset. I could see the tool but can't totally understand how it should be done. Is there a way I could easily identify and remove specific raster file? Again, thank you so much!

Hi, Would like to seek assistance or any inputs regarding merging of mosaic dataset output. I was able to create 2 output of mosaic dataset but when trying to merge it as one, it seems that it didn't merge as expected. Use of "Merge Mosaic Dataset Items" didn't work or it is not the correct tool for merging mosaic dataset output. Would appreciate any ideas or inputs in resolving this concern. Thank you!

Hi Jake, I was able to create mosaic dataset and transfer the file including the overview and it is now working. Thanks! Now I am trying to merge the output of mosaic dataset, What I did is I created new mosaic dataset and add those mosaic output. Is it correct? Or any suggestions on how to merge the mosaic dataset output. Anyone's input will surely be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, would like to seek inputs and advise on how to resolve issue in creating mosaic dataset. I was able to create mosaic dataset and see the output and check that it is good but when i tried to transfer the raster output to another server, it just didn't show up and looks like the file is corrupted or something. Any inputs on how to resolve this would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

I didn't change anything on the parameter but I tried to run flow direction in other server that we have and some are working and completed successfully. It's kinda weird but right now, this is how it works on us though i still not sure what exactly causing the error. I even added more disk space for I am thinking it might be one of the reason (low disk space). I still have plenty of raster files that needs flow direction and i'm not sure how i could complete all of those with this inconsistent result of arc gis.
