Hi All, I am looking for enhanced portalpy script which can used to fetch all my portal contents . The requirement is I would like to summarize - how many users? Ids, how many user have contents, what type of content, urls?, etc. I tried using portal py - but search returns limited set of records. I tried simulating query parameters as in REST calls (using developer tools) in my python code, but still results are not consistent. I am not sure if there is way to get all portal items in excel to do a basic analysis. Basically whatever I can see in activitydashboard/usage page, I am in need of those in excel sheet. Hi  My question is regarding relationship between Portal item vs ArcGIS server service. Let me explain the question and followed by rationale. In ArcGIS 10.6 version (single machine - federated environment - Portal, server, DS, webadaptor). I am publishing a service with multiple layers with feature service enabled. In arcgis rest end point I see both Map server and feature server. The map service has 5 individual layers. In arcgis/admin/services - I could see two portal item IDs ; one for Map server and one of Feature server.  I see two portal items (map image layer and feature layer). This is good. Now one of the portal user is creating a feature layer in portal using first layer of my map service. The portal item is created successfully with service url as below . https://dnsalias.domain.com/ags/rest/services/folder/service/MapServer/0  Question - How does this portal item is related to underlying map service?.  Rationale : I have recently upgraded my arcgis enterprise from 10.4 to 10.6. I could see many of items ID are mismatching. I ran a script to compare Item ID from arcgis server to portal and fixing those manually. But these individual feature layer which pointed to layer in map service is challenging. Need more clarity on this. ... View more

All, I have successfully installed and configured ArcGIS 10.6 (single site deployment) ArcGIS server federated with Portal. This is almost brandnew portal. Now business team wants change in application url.i.e.  DNS alias  needs to be changed. Portal url:  https://gisportal.domain.com/portal/home - now business asks me to change to https://gishub.domain.com/portal/home. I would like to know the basic high level steps for this change. I got a new signed SSL certificate for gishub.domain.com and updated new DNS alais to machine name. Do I just need to reconfigure web adaptor with new dns alais or any other steps involved,. ... Hi All, I am trying to publish hosted feature layer on recently upgraded portal 10.6 (from 10.4) and am getting below error . I have published both from ArcMap and also portal add item feature. No issue with the data or MXD . To give you an background, our enterprise stack was upgraded recently - all components were upgraded successfully except data store. Later we have to re-install and install 10.6. Data store is validating fine . But we could not publish hosted layers, normal map service publishing is good. Checked portal logs, server logs etc .. but no clue. Permissions are intact in all folders (arcgisportal, ArcGIS) etc. This seems mystery , any pointers would be highly appreciated.  ERROR 001360: Failed to get basic item metadata for service definition upload. Hello I could notice that my latest upgraded 10.5.1 GEP is missing Feature service outbound transport . Has anything changed in 10.5.1 or this is missed during upgrade. All, In last 2 to 3  instances during Windows or ESRI chrome patch installation - I could see Portal SSL certificates are corrupted and because of that Portal application is unavailable and throwing the message "Portal could not access any of portal machines. Please contact system administrator".  Does any one experienced these kind of issues / or they known technical issue with Portal during patching event. One important thing is - when Windows patching is abandoned in middle or something happens during patching, portal SSL certificates are corrupted and lost. Env: Windows 2012.
