All, I have published the mosaic dataset in ArcGIS image server (10.8.1) using Pro 2.8.2. As per end user feedback- I had to modify appearance parameters. I have rebuild the overview and foot prints and updated the image services, but still image in web interface displays older one. Tested in private window as well. if I view the layer in ArcGIS pro, they looks good and latest appearance is reflecting. I am not sure what is going on. Any help is appreaciated.

Hi Esri Field Apps Team: We are facing serious challenge on Esri Field Maps on our mobile device. [Say iPhone 8] Esri native mobile apps (Field Maps is the main focus, but Collector appears to experience the same challenge) can access our Azure-based ArcGIS Enterprise (AGE) - version 10.8.1. authenticate to it, and get a list of web maps. The apps cannot then “open the web maps” (i.e. access the services). AGE is using SAML based authentication. A browser on the same mobile device is able to do all of this, including access the services. Launching either the browser or the native mobile apps automatically invokes the VPN , regardless of whether the device is on a private corporate network (e.g. corporate WiFi) or other network. The VPN is required to be able to connect to the Azure-based AGE. Question: How to troubleshoot this field app connection issue to AGE?.

@TJones-esristaff - most of the times CA signed certificates returned from authorities do not have option to export with private key. What should we do in this situation?

Hi Esri I'm looking for emergency Management templates for 10.6.0 version. Current templates support s 10.7 only . I'm not in position to upgrade Enterprise for this requirement. Please advice

Hi All, Happy GIS Day!. I am deploying ArcGIS enterprise on Azure . I have created an signed SSL certificate from Digicert on my Azure portal with appropriate SAN names, I have downloaded .CER and PFX files. Successfully imported .CER file in certificate manager and when I try to export the same to generate pfx file - I usually get Export with Key option window, where I export with key and use the same in Portal. Unfortunately I am not getting this Azure VM. Any clue?. Or can I use .PFX file downloaded from keyvault without key? Pleas

Thanks Derrick. Yes new VM going to different machine name and IP. I believe portal and server web adaptar name should be same as old one. Is there any other parameter should match? or do I need to take into consideration?. Does portal and server import /export option help? I remember long back, portal is closely tied to machine name. if you export dump and import on machine with different name will fail. Any thoughts? I am trying jolt down all steps and process for this migration. Anyway thanks again for quick response.

Hi I am running ArcGIS Enterprise (single tenant ) - Portal federated with server - 10.6 on Windows 2008 server. As windows 2008 support is retiring . I was asked to upgrade OS to latest version. Since I never done any OS upgrade or not sure impact on ArcGIS. My thought process is spin up a new Server with 2016 OS and install ArcGIS enterprise and migrate the content from 2008 server. The question, new server I would like to keep same dns as a original one, because many of other applications which consume services from portal needs to be retained. Please help me if this is feasible and what are pros and cons. Anything specifics do I need to worry about. Thanks in advance LV

Leanndra I tried the same thing (reset configurations as per 10.6.0) , I saw default connection type as Portal. But after a while, it got automatically changed to SERVER ; only thing I did was, imported some definitions from my another GeoEvent server, not sure this puts back default connection to SERVER type. My Geoevent server is federated with Portal. I wish to use stream service as output from my azure event hub input. Need your advise. Lakshmanan

1. How do I check domain account permissions of all arcGIS folders ?. Many times permissions are dislodged due to group policies which causes many problems. I need to get an alert when permission on my arcGIS and python folders get changed. Can we achieve this? 2. I need to monitor key map services which are used for HSE applications. I can find status of the service from admin end point (hope, need to try) - but I want more intelligent way of testing map service by executing queries via REST end point and browser maps and see if we get an image response (not plain HTTP 200 code). 3. Finally I need to watch my Geoevent service (many time it hangs for various reasons) and also data feeds (input and output). Any docs for the same?

try this a) take a back up copy of dsconnections.lst b) remove the line where ID = 85D4l2.... in the file c) save and restart the DS ; try reconfiguring again.

Thanks John. Nice to know that we can portal index count which is really helpful. I have few more questions if you dont mind answering them. I would say ArcGIS monitor is lot better than Sys Mon. 1. Hi I would like to configure below tests in ArcGIS monitor 10.6 - am looking for some sample a) Need to check index status to see if there is many mismatch (user/group/search) 1. https://portal.domain.com:7443/arcgis/portaladmin/system/indexer/status b) Need to check to Test identity store and validate result (connection successful!) https://portal.domain.com:7443/arcgis/portaladmin/security/config/testIdentityStore c) Need to check machine status and validate (Health Check successful, the portal is ready) https://portal.domain.com:7443/arcgis/portaladmin/machines/status/machine.domain.com Please help me in this regard #arcgis monitor
