Probably not a bug. The docs show this; startPath (double x, double y) Which suggests its only expecting 2D points. Do all of the points have a zero Y value?

Hello, @tchart: The Java webadaptor.config file should be located in your tomcat installation directory and then the following: ...\webapps\arcgis\WEB-INF\classes\ Thanks The problem is the file is there but doesn't reflect the changes Ive made through the UI. Most of the entries are null/blank.

Ive deployed the Java web adaptor on Tomcat 7. Its working fine. Now under IIS (..\intepub\wwwroot\webadaptor) there is a webadaptor.config file which contains some details such as the nodes, shared key etc. For Java the webadaptor.config file is where I???d expect (ie ..\Tomcat\webapps\webadaptor\web-inf\classes) except its basically empty. None of the settings I???d expect to be filled out are populated. Where are the settings stored? They must be stored somewhere as they survive service restarts? Thanks

We resolved this issue by changing the close job step to a procedural step. Now we only get one email (the job is automatically closed since it is the last step).

We've subscribed to the "Job Closed" notification but we apepar to be getting two copies of the email. The time in the email body is slighlty different in each which means its sending twice but they are really duplicates. The job history also show two "Job XXX closed by ..." entries - which is probably related to the fatc we get two emails. Has anyone else found this? Thanks

The only difference between these machines is that I have 10.0 SP 4 installed and the other machine only SP 3. Are you referring to SP3/4 for Desktop or WMX? We have the issue too and Im pretty sure its still occuring on Desktop SP4+WMX SP4. It does seem to be machine specific though as I never have the issue. Trevor

Thanks Kevin, we needed to update the value in a versioned feature class. Pyhton cursors dont suppport versioned FC's so we had to use the calculate value/field tool in a Python script and that worked fine. So the python script creates a temporary connection to the job version workspace, creates a fearure layer, select the record and then does a calculate. Works like a charm - the only issue is that the user has to enter the ID of the feature (that they need to update) into the extended properties.

Hi, Yes, you can add a feature class as an extended properties record. We support geographic dataset as an extended properties data type - see this topic You will also be able to use the same calls for updating extended properties if you want to automatically add the feature class as an extended properties through tokens via the rest API. Have you explored this option? Thanks, Tope Tope, perhaps Im reading this thread wrong. I need to use (or wish to use) a versioned feature class as an extended properties table. The way I read the original posters topic is that he wishes to do the same. The topic you pointed to seems to indicate you can set the extended property data type to be a "feature class" and that the name of the feature class is stored in the extended property table. Which isnt what Im trying to achieve. For my scenario I wish to use a feature class (which is versioned) as the actual extended properties table. This is to allow the user to edit a value on the feature class without diving into ArcMap simply to update 1 value. Not sure if that is possible. Im looking at Python but it seems it has issues with updating versioned data in cursors. Thanks Trevor

Is there anyway to get the "Define AOI by entering coordinates" tool (on the Define Jobs Spatially window) to show other coordinate systems? Its very unhelpful when the only options are WGS84. Not to mention the users are confused when they are confronted with options for DMS, DDD etc Other than that can the tool be removed?

There is also Workflow Manager's own "Post Job Version" GP tool that you can plug into your workflow. In addition to reconciling and posting, this tool also tracks the spatial edits made and triggers any spatial notifications registered. -Raghu We had all sorts of issue running the reconcile/post using the gptool custom step. In the end we had to call a Python script to make sure it works correctly.
