I have an SDE SQL database that has been somehow corrupted. I cannot connect to it from ArcGIS desktop anymore. It was 10.x something. I need help fixing this connection and if I can't somehow copy the data and design out of it and save it somewhere else.

Sharon, I read through the setup and now I have more questions. If it is free, why do I need an AGOL account? I was kind of looking to operate for a few employees as a stand alone program that used the basemaps (Aerials) and specifically the elevation topos and cross sections from point to point.. I need some more information about the product. Is there someone to call at ESRI? Maybe it is you I am open. I just the employees to operate it by themselves without my support in the background.

Is ArcGIS Earth or Globe a free program? Does it need a license to operate them? I am not familiar with them and want to replace another program (not ESRI) with an ESRI product and don't know which one to replace it with, I could use some help.

I would like to be able to add a temporary point to a Webmap and be able to Buffer it without creating a hosted feature layer. I want this because I don't want anyone to be able to edit in my Portal or try to find the old hosted feature class to create a new point. This is to difficult for my employees. This will only happen a few times a year and it would be the easiest to just create everything temporary and just delete it when they are done.

I have an issue with the new Edge Chromium. When I was on 10.6.1 Portal I switched to Edge Chromium because IE was to slow and it worked great for months until I upgraded to Portal 10.8.1. Now the cache gets immediately full and Portal just spins in circles. I can clear the cache and it will work for a few minutes and then it will stop again. If I open a private session in Edge it works fine. Is anyone else having this issue? I am trying to make things standard in my office, but because of the upgrade to Portal 10.8.1 I need to go back to the slow IE. Is there a solution?

That sounds ok and I will look into it, but that is not what I had in mind. IExample: I have a 20 mile transmission line and in order to see the whole thing I need to zoom out to 1:100,000, but I want to see specifics and that works for the line at 1:10,000 and if I can somehow use an extend at 1:10,000 and use the transmission line as the thing to map it should work great, but I don't know how to do this.

Does anyone know how to create data driven pages that uses a set extent instead of the field in a feature? I have a 20 mile transmission line I want to create sequential maps at a certain extent and have page 2 of 20 still on the maps.

Background: I collect field data with Collector in IOS and Sync it with my Portal. In Portal I export it to a FGDB and download the zip file into a folder and unzip it. In order to get it in a coordinate system that is usable for me and get the x, y, and z values I tried to set up a model. Everything works great but the photo Attachments don't come with. Does anyone know how to export attachments in a FGDB to another one or maybe there is another way of doing this?

No, not really. I need to know sooner so I can purchase computers for my field people to start collecting data. Obviously someone knows the answer, so why should I wait for a conference. Just tell me. I purchase ESRI software and I want to use it. I have deadlines to meet.

Is Collector App for Windows ever going to be updated above the current status that is well behind IOS and Android? Is ESRI going to stop working on this upgrade because it has been a very long time since they last did anything with it?

Is there a way to edit the attachment section of the pop-ups? I would like to add more attachments, but I need to change the heading from attachments to maybe Land records and a link attachment, Survey and then the link, and so on. I can add as many links as I want, but I need to be able to describe them. Can this be done in Portal?
