Hi, In ArcGIS Pro, I am trying to implement a simple Attribute Rule calculation in Arcade and I am stuck with syntax! I am filtering the current features with an SQL type query and Arcade returns an invalid where clause... In practice, this Filter function should return a unique feature with which I am performing a growth calculation on the current feature. Any guess?

Thanks (@XanderBakker too). It really helped.In addition, I used a simple if statment in order to display WGS84 lat/lon in decimal degrees in ArcGIS Pro, and once published to Portal using the MetersToLatLon function. IIf(centroid($feature).x <= 180 && centroid($feature).x >= -180, centroid($feature).y + ',' + centroid($feature).x,
MetersToLatLon(centroid($feature).x, centroid($feature).y)[0] + ',' + MetersToLatLon(centroid($feature).x, centroid($feature).y)[1]);

I thought about the web-Mercator projection, it makes sense although not handy! In Arcade, I wonder if there is any function to translate the web-Mercator coordinates back to WGS84 decimal degrees...? Something like GeodeticX and GeodeticY, just like AreaGeodetic functions...

In ArcGIS Pro, I made 2 simple Arcade expressions to display lat and long in PopUps for polygons centroids. Centroid($feature).x and Centroid($feature).y As the layer is in WGS84, I get nice decimal degrees coordinates for centroids in pop-ups Once published as a Hosted layer, the same pop-ups using same Arcade expressions display funny coordinates, like some sort of projected coordinates in meters/feets Is it normal behavior? Is there any way to force Arcade in Portal to display decimal degrees in WGS84?

To follow-up, I found the 'issue'. In fact, the layers were actually published as editable with all 'editing' capabilities turned on... Editing works in ArcGIS Pro and/or Portal. It is just that the 'pen' editable symbol do not appear in the Content on Portal (unlike on Hostel layer) and I thought editing was not possible. It is confusing and more a GUI issue...

No chance! The ArcGIS Server do show the correct 'editing' capabilities turned on... but these feature services are not editable in Portal. Bad news. Need to investigate more...

In the Portal, I cannot change any settings for editing as data is referenced (versus to hosted), which is normal behavior according to ESRI documentation: "If you share a web feature layer that references registered data, editing operations cannot be modified through the website for your ArcGIS organization; use ArcGIS Server Manager instead. For more information, see Edit service properties in Server Manager in the ArcGIS Enterprise help." https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/sharing/overview/configure-web-feature-layer.htm And unfortunately, I cannot change edits settings in ArcGIS Server Manager as I am not entitled to. If publishing a referenced layer with edits enabled ends up not being editable in Enterprise Portal, would it be an ESRI bug?

Hi, I have a layer in ArcGIS Pro, stored in an Oracle Enterprise GDB which I 'Share as a Web Layer' (published) to an ArcGIS Enterprise Portal. I want this feature class to be editable and I made sure I clicked the 'enabled editing and allow editors to' (in operations in Configuration tab) 'Add', 'Update', 'Delete' (see below) In addition, the 'reference registered data' is enabled to Feature (see below) All looks ok but once published, the layer is not editable on the Enterprise Portal! Is there any reason or anything to tweak? I was expecting the layer to be editable... Thanks

Great! The color attribute is font tag is not working on its own, but as you said, it works embedded in an inline style... For me it kept the font tag as follow: <p>
<font style="color:rgb(255,0,0);">Text in red</font>
</p> And it works Just a pity there is not a color shortcut button in the toolbar to apply color to text in PopUps design...

Hi, In ArcGIS Online/Portal for ArcGIS, I wish to add color on text in PopUps. As I cannot see any option for color setting I am using 'html style' source and I tried to add <font color="rgb(0, 0, 255)"> tag as follow: <p> <font color="rgb(0, 0, 255)">Text in red</font> </p> But it is ignored when interpreted in PopUps! And the <font color="rgb(0, 0, 255)"> tag disapears. Is it normal behaviour? How can I tweak text color in PopUps? in PopUps

Thanks, it helped. I had found the Query (Feature Service) which explains the geometry parameters. However, if you use WGS84 (WKID 4326) decimal degrees and you specify it in the Input Spatial Reference as 4326, the output is not as expected. It looks like the export is confused if the FeatureService spatial reference is different! Instead, I used the Envelope with coordinates in the same Spatial Reference as the FeatureService and it did work. Although, it still exports 28,000+ features, thus exceeding the usual 2,000 features limit. I am stuck again.

Hi, When you query a FeatureService and export a JSON file, once opened in ArcGIS Pro, the symbology of the FeatureService is not imported, although it is in the FeatureService. As DrawingInfo (Renderer) are detailed in the FeatureService (as well as in the JSON format details), I wonder how to export the DrawingInfo from the FeatureService and Import the symbology in ArcGIS Pro. Thanks Regular DrawingInfo in FeatureService: FeatureService_DrawingInfo JSON style DrawingInfo in FeatureService: FeatureService_DrawingInfo_JSON

Hi, I am interested in this particular behavior for Attribute Rules and I do have another question: in your example, if the point in the first green polygon is deleted, would the polygons automatically gets codes with "No"? I believe not. Behavior on attribute rules applies on Insert, Update and Delete, for the polygons... But if an Insert, Update and Delete happens on the points, it is not reflected in the polygon attribute rule. Does this make sense? For example, the squared polygons below use an attribute rule to sum the employees of intersecting points. When the rule runs on polygons, it calculates 1,557. However, if a point if updated with +100 employees, the rule on polygons is not runned (not triggered)! The attribute stays 1,557 but it should now shows 1,657. I have exactly the same Arcade script in use for PopUps and it does updates to 1,657 because the Arcade code is executed each time you open the PopUps. Is there any code in Arcade to introduce some 'events'? I mean to run the Arcade attribute rule in polygons if any updates are performed in the underlying layers used in the Arcade code...

Hi, I am testing Binning symbology for interactive mapping and it looks cool. I went through all ESRI documentation and it works fine. However, there is 'one thing' I cannot find. Is it possible to set the exact size of a 'binning square'? For example, to output 1 square miles binning which I could lock to keep the same geosquare at all scale... In Binning tab > Size group > I can only increase/decrease Bin Size and the closest I can get to 1 mile is 1.3 mile! I wonder if there is anything I missed or if this is still a limitation of Binning (which may evolve in future ArcGIS Pro releases). Thanks
