I am not an ArcPro User (due to its inability to access ms access personal geodatabases) however, Percentages is either a format or a calculated value based upon the number stored in databases. There is no field type of Percentage. So the number is stored as a plain numeric or decimal value. You would have to choose either: 1. Number represents a fraction. Adjust it to show as a percentage -- (Format) 2. Or apply a calculated value ([Percentage (your field name)]*100 Hope this helps....

i have been using the standard SQL Sever drivers... i have no major issues with dates (outside of ESRI) between SQL Server and MS Access. Since I con only do a complete re-write from ESRI to SQL Server those dates have not caused any issues for me. This may help you somewhat with common date issues between SQL server and MS Access

You are correct, you can store your geometry in dbase files and edit them and meanwhile use Access as a front end. However, you are stuck with the limitations of DBASE IV and that is a show stopper in most cases..... I have not only the layers geometry in access but annotations, relationships, queries( access version of views) ... these are all items in use which DBase does not support. Additionally other internal programs and web applications that currently hit the access database, falls quickly apart managing the DBase IV style of ODBC access.... any updating in additions forces security management ---- DBase at an enterprise scale (even a small one like mine) falls apart very quickly where as Access can minimally hold its own.

Incorrect.... my SQL Server express/light ONLY allows for a drop table and it creates a new table. NO editing or updates are allow except for a complete rewrite of the table within the esri desktop. Although I can from outside of esri environment edit the data. So updating and existing table entails re-writing the complete table. (I am running ArcMap 10.5.1 with the arcinfo license.

FYI -- Tip -- For those of you who do not know -- The first 8 Rows of an excel spreadsheet determines the datatype... so if you have rows of number but have one blank or text character within the first eight rows that column will be treated as text....in esri ...

You can do this with a SQL query as already indicated. If your DBA cannot help you then you can export your visits table to MS ACCESS yourself and perform queries like below... You can easily combine the two into one query (little more advanced) but for the sake of clarity I have split the MS Access SQL into smaller chunks. #Friendliness Calculation
SELECT Location, Avg(Friendliness) AS HowFriendly
FROM Visits
GROUP BY Visits.Location;
#Total Visits
SELECT Location, Count(Location) AS TotalVisits
FROM Visits
GROUP BY Location;
#As One SQL Query
SELECT Location, Count(Location) AS TotalVisits, Avg(Friend) AS HowFriendly
FROM Visits
GROUP BY Location;

As Jim Cousins mentioned... text halo/mask is the way to go on background imagery. Do not necessarily choose a white halo on coloured background but sympathetic colors to match the background. I could live with that option/compromise if Esri would allow SQLite as the replacement personal geodatabase. Right now it is a complete re-write for any feature editing or updating.... currently anything more than "Static" use is non-existent. Both the MDB and ACCDB flavors of access perform fine with SQLite.

Since most of the labels look good... A lot of excellent techniques - most all will work for you have already been discussed throughout this thread. Since there are not many my initial suggestion is to convert labels to annotation and hand place and size them.... or use Key number since it appears that you have plenty of space around the periphery.
