If you had archiving on the feature class that may be possible: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/geodatabases/overview/what-is-archiving-.htm For the entire enterprise geodatabase, that is more difficult. If you roll back (restore) to point in the past, it will roll back everything. If you have a backup from that time period, you may be able to restore to another instance of your RDBMS and look there. A lot would depend on your backups and the RDBMS that you are using.

Ok, I think that once you paste it into the Project folder (as you referenced above), you will still need to "Add to Project". That will just add the .sde file in your local folder. That will "break" the connection. I do not believe that it adds .sde files automatically to the project. That is for a variety of reasons that I can think of.

You will have to have a keycodes / authorization file to enable ANY enterprise geodatabase. This requires at any version of ArcGIS Server.

I think that is the expected behavior. Once you add a connection to your project, it creates a "pointer" to where it was in the DB folder. As your screenshot shows, it gives the path to the .sde connection file. Is that the location that you "copied" the connection from?

yes, you should be able to make a connection to a non-Enterprise Geodatabase on PostgreSQL. I have a test PostgreSQL DB (non-geodatabase) that I use on a regular basis.

It could be more of a compatibility issue between Enterprise 10.9.1 and Pro 3.3.x in terms of the web tools; https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/analysis/geoprocessing/share-analysis/web-tool-compatibility.htm I would contact Technical Support to discuss with them also.

Snapshot works. Really it depends on your IT setup. The important thing is to have a backup of the machine before the upgrade that is NOT stored on the same VM (yes, this happens all the time....)

I am wondering if "SCHEMA-x" (table owner) needs to have the same permissions as a data owner to "own" the object in the geodatabase; https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/geodatabases/manage-postgresql/privileges-postgresql.htm If you update SCHEMA-x's permissions to that of a data owner and re-run the tool, does that work?
