No i have not. I was thinking about bringing in the service with stored credentials, creating the web map (you can configure the pop-ups then) and use the AGOL Assistant to repoint the map to the secured service layer.

I have a service that is being shared to our Portal. Server 10.4.1, Portal 10.4.1. The service is Secured at the Server and Shared with Everyone on our Portal. The built in Web app builder isn't allowing configuration of pop-ups. I can enable them but not configure. Anyone else with this problem or possibly found a solution? Thanks!

We did a restore to the day before. Can i ask why you were adding it? i was adding it because in Portal i cannot create an application on a web map that will prompt for server credentials. It only works when i store the cred. or unsecure at server.

i ran across this again and was thinking if you didn't find a solution anyway. I had issues downloading replicas at first and it was security on the arcgisserver folder on the server. it needed the arcgis user added.

i found that running repair geometry tool from ArcCatelog worked to fix this. The tool ran from ArcCatelog seemed to work better. Plus i was able to review the result.

I have found that renaming the Esri folder under the C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\ESRI helped a lot. Keep in mind you will want to copy over and configs. (AddInFoldersList.xml, ArcCatelog connection files, etc.)

i think this will happen when you have the service set to download by map instead of by user. When you download to say collector and it is by map you will get a version for each download. if you set it to download by user then it will be by the security users at server level. Ex. no security on service will be an anonymous(service name). if you add security version will be by that name: Robert(service name) . These will need to be managed. Reconcile/posted to default. Hope its working. I trudged through this late last year. it was dreadful, but now it is working slick. there are just so many things to consider.

You are using 10.3 up right? Also, the SyncTools folder and service are unlocked in server manager.

Have you looked at your server logs? I have only created feature services from versioned data because we use that for other replicas. A service will publish fine but pulling it down is another story it's more complex. I found that live editing with sync enabled data would work fine but pulling it down (creating a replica) would fail. You have the option in your web map to enable offline editing?

If it is hosted could be. if it is on your server it shouldn't be a problem. I found that if I put data in the cloud and had attachments prior I had issues, I had to do that in the cloud. That may be fixed now though. I would start with only adding 1 feature at a time to your web map and see if you can narrow down the issue. Also, double locking on service will cause problems. Make sure it is only locked at folder or at service level.

I had this issue and I found that I had to go to the System folder in Manager and make sure it was unlocked. Also, if you upgraded your server you will want to go to the arcgiserver folders and make sure ArcGIS user is in the folder security. Also sometimes an mxd could have bad element in it and starting from scratch may do the trick too. (Cannot have any joins in map for feature service) Hope it helps
