Chris i tried your approach and i ran into some issues. so when i used the 'Grid Index Features' tool on the monument points i just created one big polygon that covered all the points. You stated that i should 'Sort order on Grid' problem is that there is only one polygon that was generated from the 'Grid Index Features' tool. So I am not sure if am not understand you.

The layer already had x,y i just updated the the fields. I used the 'Sort' and i added the two fields y,x which with made an out put of 'Monuments_points_sort', then i did the 'Sort' again as stated on the 'Monuments_points_sort' and i added the two fields x,y which made an out put of 'Monuments_points_sort_sort'. I then used the 'Points to Line' on 'Monuments_points_sort_sort': Line field i used 'Corner_type', in the soft field is used 'ObjectID'. which gave me an error RuntimeError: ERROR 999999: Error executing function. Completed script PointsToLine... Failed to execute (PointsToLine).

I was hopping there was a tool that would do that since my python is not very good when it comes to something like this. I was hopping maybe someone had already done or figured out how to do something like this but i can't image i am the only one that has faced this issue, but may i am. Any help on how to accomplish this would be awesome. Thanks.

Good point about which one is the original ID but for this case i don't need to actually know which is the original ID. It's a notification list to mail out notices and there is numerous double parcels. I need to remove the duplicates so when staff mails out letters their not sending out 3-7 letters to the same address. I have ran into the case where people have requested every road name in our county. Our road center line is broken into numerous segments so i need to identify duplicates so this would be something i could use a number of ways.

I could also make the section line boundary ( i have those already, which is why i am needing the quarter lines) but if i can come up with a process to connect all points, sections points and quarter points that would work fine. There is some attribute data see the pic i attached. I did try the 'Points to line' with no luck well i did get a lot of lines but not what i was looking for. ha ha. All lines only run north-south and eas-west.

They look like equal distance but they are not but some might be. The county is odd shape and we have government lots so those are not a full section.

That would work if the sections line where equal distance but they are not. I need to be able to snap point to point to create the quarter lines.

I have polylines of the sections and monuments. I need to create quarter sections lines. I am not sure what is the best way to achieve this without connecting the lines manual. I am sure some one has come across this before. So if anyone can help me out that would be awesome. Pic 1 show what i have and pic.2 is what i am trying to achieve.
