Hello Colin - Both of our external system integration tools are now installed with the API so you do not need to manage publishing GP services to access these operations. Please reference: Export Network: https://developers.arcgis.com/rest/services-reference/enterprise/lr-export-network.htm Relocate Event: https://developers.arcgis.com/rest/services-reference/enterprise/lr-relocate-event.htm -amit@esri

The compress operation does not apply to branch versioning, you still want to properly maintain indexes and statistics (analyze) as needed per the apps and workflows using and managing the data. The Geodatabase team will be attending the September RHUG meeting to dive deeper into branch versioning.

This would be my recommended approach since all the routes are associated to the same line; technically you really wouldn't need to have physically gapped routes because you can treat each part of the gapped route as its own route. This will save you headaches when trying to fill a gap because you can then simply add a new route in the gap and the line orders will update: Ex: Two routes in a line emulating a traditional "gapped" route in a continuous interpolative LRS network: To fill the gap in the line network, simply create a new route and assign it to the existing line. This will update the line orders -amit@esri | Esri Transportation LRS Team

For your specific configuration of the line network (autogenerated route Id) you will not be able to fill a gapped route in an existing line with a new route in one Location Referencing edit operation: Ex: Two routes in a line. Route order 100 is gapped The workflow to fill the gap is to first realign the gapped route (line order 100) so it is no longer gapped: Once you have filled the gap you can then begin to reassign the downstream routes back to new routes in the same line so all routes in the line are uniquely identified and ordered: -amit@esri | Esri Transportation LRS Team

The server extension should be installed on the GIS Server: And yes you should see location referencing solutions listed for your Server. If you are certain you've installed and licensed the extension you may want to restart the GIS Server service and then try the publishing pattern again. -Amit

Unlike ArcGIS Pro/ArcGIS Enterprise Location Referencing Solutions, the ArcMap/ArcGIS Roads and Highways Server product does have a server installation. Even if you are seeing a license for the product on Server unless you've installed the Server Extension you are not going to be able to publish services from ArcMap. Can you please check that the Roads and Highways GIS Server extension license has actually been installed on the server. Thanks -amit@esri | Esri Transportation LRS Team

Hello Jonathon - Can you describe whether you created the LRS dataset using ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro? What version of ArcGIS Enterprise (Server) are you running? Can you share a screenshot from the Server Authorizations page? -Amit

This is the expected behavior for the current release of this geoprocessing tool (Delete Routes). If a route is selected in a Line Network, all routes in the same line are deleted across time. This is done to ensure users do not end up with any issues with derived networks and events that span routes if we did partial deletions of the routes on a line. -Amit@esri | Esri Transportation LRS Team

Hello Masao Our ArcGIS Roads and Highways data model has very specific requirements for how the software discretely calibrates and interpolates measures across polylines. I would encourage you to review the following documents and links in determining the appropriate tolerance and resolution settings for your network LRMs relative to your distance measuring units and coordinate reference systems: Data Model (Note Calibration Point requires a numeric data type Double): https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/production/roads-highways/lrs-data-model.htm Tolerance and Resolution Settings for the LRS: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/production/roads-highways/tolerance-and-resolution-settings-for-the-lrs.htm Esri ArcGIS Geodatabase Feature Class Basic Spatial Properties: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/geodatabases/overview/feature-class-basics.htm -amit@esri Esri Transportation LRS Team

Hello Jonathon - Thank you for the clarification on your publishing pattern. At this time, the Roadway Reporter web application shipped with Enterprise Location Referencing only works with services published from ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap). I'll defer to @NathanEasley on whether there could be a programmatic workaround or timetable for a Pro release. -amit@esri Esri Transportation Practice

Hi Kevin - Off the topic from the original posting but in reference to your process to programmatically derive a Statelog-based LRM, once you transition to the ArcGIS Pro release of Roads and Highways you could conceptually model your Statelog as a "derived network" from a line network where your routes are based on your Countylog. This would automate the process of maintaining two LRMs and would also allow you to support events that span multiple Countylog routes. Here are a few resources for you to look at: Line Networks Network Configuration Deriving Event Measures -amit@esri
