Further optimizations have been made in 2.8 as well. I'm going to close this issue as completed. If you have further problems with TOC performance please reach out to technical support here: https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support

Unfortunately the page query function works against the map series page name so there isn't a good way to solve this. You can change the page name to be the A,B feature, but then you only have one page for each A,B feature and not a page for every 1,2 feature. You can display the data for all the 1,2 features using dynamic text or other dynamic elements but you wouldn't have a page for each. To do more than I think you need Python.

Are features A,B always in the same layer? If so, you might be able to use the Linked Map Frame Extent map frame constraint to solve the issue. To that you would create the map series using the current map frame and index layer, but drag that map frame off the page or turn off its visibility. Then add a new map frame on the page and set the constraint using the A,B layer as the layer parameter. Then, the map frame will show the extent of A,B but a page will be created for each index feature. I did a quick test with states and counties. A page with 1 county in a state: A page for one county, but the state contains 2 counties (you could use a page query to hide the other one if you wanted)

Hi! There isn't a way to change the color of the layout itself right now. To solve the problem I usually draw a rectangle the same size as the page and change its color. Cheers, Aubri

Hmmm. I can't reproduce with my own township and range data. As long as Selected is chosen I can click individual edges. This sounds like a bug. Can you reach out to Technical Support? https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support They can troubleshoot the issue and enter a bug for the development team.

Is this a layout or a map? For a layout it's possible that the title is off the page. Anything outside the designed page won't be included in the export. In that case you just need to make the page size bigger. If it is a map, you can use the Preview option for map export to see what is being included in the export. Everything else is hidden. In that case you can change the number of pixels to adjust the aspect ratio and get what you need visible.

Hello! It looks like you still have All selected for the Edges. You'll need to click Selected before those controls are enabled. When the All option is highlighted everything you do applies to all edges, you can't selected individual edges until Selected is chosen.

Hi! You should be able to do this. Can you tell me what kind of dynamic text you are using? Are you using the Page Name or Attribute dynamic text options specific to map series or the Value dynamic text option?

Hello! We've been looking into a few issues with exif and images on a layout in Pro. We hope to have them addressed in the upcoming release of Pro. However, there are a lot of "flavors" of this problem and its hard to know if all of them have been addressed. If you can reach out to tech support with your specific repro case, they can pass that on to the development team to make sure your situation is indeed covered by the fixes they are working on. You can reach out to tech support here: https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support Cheers, Aubri

You can do this in Pro! This video shows you where the option is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zm96Qiy8gy0 In the video the cartographer restyles the credits, but you can also turn off their visibility in the Contents Pane while working on your layout.

Hi! The text is automatically applied to columns, you can't choose where the column breaks are. If you aren't see your text in multiple columns, it may be that you don't have enough text or that the text box is so large and the font size small enough that everything fits in one column. If you resize your text box or increase the amount of text you have, columns should appear.

Ah okay, I see. A map series is based on a single map frame. Other map frames can exist on the page, but only one map frame can drive the map series. The index feature, the feature used as the extent for each map series page, must be selected from a single map. Other maps can be made to update using map frame constraints, but there are limits. See more here: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/layouts/customizing-your-map-extent.htm. If the map frame constraints will allow you to connect the maps in a way that works with one index feature then you can use the map series features in Pro to create what you want. If not, you probably need to use a Python script to update each map frame and create your map series. Python can extend the maps series far beyond what is available in the map series settings.

I'm not sure if a map series is what you are looking for here. The attached PDF only has one page. A map series is used to create multiple pages with a different map extent on each page. From the example you provided you just need 1 page with multiple maps, each map showing a different extent. Is that correct? If that is what you need there are 2 available options. You can show the same map 6 times at different extents, or you can create 6 different maps. If the extent is the only thing changing in the maps you can use the same map and just have multiple map frames. If, however, the symbology/layer visibility/data/coordinate system need to be different you'll need new maps for each.

That looks like a bug, I've never seen the tabs missing before. Can you reach out to tech support and see if they can help you and log an official bug? In the meantime, I would close the Element pane then select another element then open the Table Frame Properties again. The pane probably got slightly out of sync. Closing the pane and switching elements will hopefully help things sync back up.
