Rather than taking a picture for image type questions, users can select the folder icon to upload a pre-existing image. However on Android devices the folder location does not show their photo gallery where the devices pictures are stored (this is not an issue on iOS devices). The screen shot below is what I see. Where is the location for the mobile devices photo gallery?

There should be a log file some where that keep tracks of users adding, removing, moving, editing settings, configs, or editing map configs/app configs within AGOL. There has been a few circumstances where items go "missing" (deleted) that are in production and management wants to know who is doing this (but we dont know). Also, maps/apps get reconfigured with different layouts/colors/ pop-ups etc. and we want to know who is doing this and when they did. It doesn't have to be detailed (just say user x changed the map on x date:time). I am not referring to editing data items I know that is already tracked.

If you develop you own app in web app builder developer edition its possible, but with AGOL templates unfortunately no. I am in the same position as OP. My municipality does not fit well with the current zoom scales...

our organization has an ELA with ESRI and considering adapting portal. we currently have arc server up & running with Enterprise GDB with MS SQL Server 2016. I am cautious with installing portal and wondered if ESRI tech support (someone experienced hopefully) can assist in setting up and configuring portal on our network with active directory auth. Questions - with portal installed can users access ESRI apps (Survey123/Collector) with there windows logon (active directory auth)? currently we have services hosted on server requiring users to use their active directory logins to access. this means they need to know their AGOL logins to enter collector/survy123 to access their group maps and their AD credentials when they want to work on projects (accessing the services hosted on Server) I was hoping portal would remove this issue. All insight is much appreciated.

Is there a way to track what users are adding/removing/editing items (maps, applications) in AGOL? a log report or similar. I am not talking about tracking edits for a feature service, but maps and apps themselves.

I agree 100%. If this is currently a limitation it should be added to the Ideas page, and I would not think its too difficult to implement, just prompt the user where the directory should be to hold all the survey data.

this would also be extremely helpful for collaboration when developing surveys. More than one user (anyone on a shared network drive) could access the same .xls form without having to grab it from the organizational tab, download and re-create it with the copied form. In addition, users may not always be working on the workstation, sometimes we need to use other machines but if these files were on a network drive of our choosing this would eliminate that problem as well.

open the admin < manager < Locks dialog box in catalog and remove any locks on the FC then try to delete it. Its being used somewhere, it should also tell you what user/machine owns the file lock.

what type of issues? the config store is on a local drive not network drive. I can add the directory to an exclusion list within the AV if I must but can you expand on potential issues you can see or have heard about?
