We have a table on SDE that we want to switch from using Versioned editing as only one person is needed to edit that dataset and direct editing of the table is much quicker without versioned editing. The issue is now that the table has been set to become editable, the "Undo/Redo" commands don't work, nor does the "Save Edits/Disregard Edits" work either (as they work fine editing say a shapefile or version editing tables in SDE). This means once an edit has been made, it's permenant, including mistakes which can be dangerous if things get deleted and can't be brought back. Is there something we're missing that would allow is to still edit directly into an SDE table from ARCGIS Pro and still have those functions still work? Or is this just an issue with direct editing in SDE? This is the first time we are trying this out and ran into this issue... Thanks

Weird, I'm on 3.0 and can export to PDF just fine, but not Jpg. I'm on .NET Framework 4.8 currently and still running into the (export failed) for jpgs for simple maps as well. I don't want to update to 4.8.1 as the 4.8 version is still the recommended version and it's not that easy I don't think to downgrade once a newer version is installed. As for Microsoft .NET Desktop, I'm already on 6.0.9 which is the latest version. I did however notice this new change (https://support.esri.com/en/technical-article/000027942) which states you need to chose manually now in 3.0 the Color Depth and that was my issue. Just in case others missed this little change, this was my issue with exporting to JPG...

Luckily a coworker had 2.9.2 still installed and, yeah, he isn't showing that cog either on his. In fact his measure tool does the same as mine is doing right now, and showing every verticies. I just swear I had that to only show the end result, maybe I'm just losing my mind or something?

Oh wow, didn't realize it was like that in 2.9. Though I still didn't think it expanded in 2.9 as I had been using that version for quite awhile...

Since upgrading to 3.0 and now 3.1, I've notice the Measure Tool (esri_mapping_measureDistanceTool) to be acting differently than before. When measuring distances that had multiple verticies I am pretty sure I used to only see the end result which was great and this may have been a setting I did so that each individual verticies weren't measuring. Now when I measure, I'm getting a constantly expanding tool with each added vertex I add, and this is annoying (I swear I had it so it didn't do this prior 3.0). I noticed some changes in the tool as well, including the settings (cog wheel) no longer being shown and wonder if that's where the setting to prevent this was set? Pre 3.0 Post 3.0 Am I imagining this, or was there a way to only show the end result measure and not all the verticies in between prior to 3.0?

@CarsonG Yes I agree. I have to resort to using <C> to pan around quickly when I don't want to use the Explore Tool so I can keep my current tool and often I end up having multiple "c's" in my attributes since I sometimes still have that highlighted after entering in data. Highly annoying. As you said, there are many hard coded keys that I don't use and don't intend on using, but hit by accident and it's a pain sometimes trying to figure out how to restore the map (good example is hitting the <V> which rotates the map and then I have to look up how to get it back to it's original orientation) or how the <PGUP> will Pan up and <PgDn> will Pan down, and <HOME> is Pan Left and <END> is Pan Right. On my keyboard I have the one with two rows (Top row is Insert, Home, PgUp and bottom row is Delete, End PgDn) which makes those quik set pans useless and non intuitive to use with my physical keyboard layout. Just little things like that, but more importantly it would be much nicer to bind them all to functional keys that each user is comfortable with as you mentioned in ArcMap. @KoryKramer did mention to me that there were going to be some changes in future updates that will be about the keybinds or accelerators as ESRI calls them. So maybe this will be something that will be addressed...

I swear I was able to caculate a selected sum by the Statitics in Pro in the past, but I have been banging my head for the past day trying to figure out how to do it simply. The Data Engineering works great and is exactly what I needed without having to put in definition queries or exporting to ArcMap to do such a simple task you'd expect to work as easily as it did in ArcMap...

@KoryKramer : Yes I was able to get the <ALT+D> to work with the clear. It was mapped originally to Clear (Clear selecton of all features) (esri_mapping_clearSelectionButton) which didn't seem to work, however changing it to the Clear (Clear Feature Selection) (esir_mapping_clearSelectionButton) did end up working. Seems the ID has changed from what it was before as the Clear (Clear selecton of all features) now shows a new ID of Esri_mapping_rasterClearLayerSelectionButton) and that was the reason. I assume this was actually a fix as it was using the same ID as Clear (Clear Feature Selection). Again, the names can be confusing at times without looking at the ID's...

@KoryKramer, update. I did find some issues now regarding the use of the <ALT> keys. For example I have <ALT+L> as "Copy Coordinates and now when using that, it brings up the portal pulldown menu instead now. To fix it, I had to go back and re-assign the keybind again overwritting the existing one (which was the same "Copy Coordinates") and then it worked. So at least there's a workaround, but figure I may have to do this now with all <ALT> combined binds. Alt-D for Clear (Clear selecton of all features) (esri_mapping_clearSelectionButton) doesn't seem to work at all anymore, so I think there are some issues with the <ALT> combinations...

@KoryKramer, I tested it out and glas to see the full functionality of the F-keys are now avaliable. In addition to the HOME, INS, PGUP,PGDown, etc, the ,. or <> keys are also hard bound to Previous Extent and Next Extent and are also not able to be changed (at least not with my tests). Which is fine, as I am used to that, but seems to be a good improvement so far, Thanks for that...

@KoryKramer , I'll upgrade to 3.0 now and test it out. Generally the <PGup, down> keys I had for Zooming in or via the box. <Insert> was Select by Rectangle and <Home> I believe was Zoom to the whole page, <End> was pan (similar to Pro's explorer). The single press F-keys were also bound to a lot of things listed here (which I had to convert to <Alt+Fkey> or <CTRL+ Fkey> instead. Here are the commands that were assigned to the F-keys (Finish Sketch, Start/Stop Editing, Snapping Window, Create Features, Attributes, Goto XY, Find, Identify, Results). Thanks Pete

@DenverBilling, @Scott_Harris Yes, Matt over at ESRI is stumped on this issue still and is in touch with me almost weekly on his progress and testing of why this issue became big in 2.9. I'm on 2.9.1 and still have the issue, but re-installing ArcGIS Pro didn't solve it and neither did a number of customization resets or such do anything either. I have it noticeable on larger datasets, but have seen it on smaller ones as well. Matt even said he was experiencing it as well, but then couldn't replicate the issue afterwards. So as of now it's still a mystery, but it's is still being actively investigated...

Ok good, I didn't know if it was just me having that weird anomaly since upgrading to 2.9 or not. Seems to be a new bug then. I have submitted a bug report...

I've noticed since updating to 2.9 that snapping seems to be more tempromental compared to older versions. I'm finding in editing now, that snapping sometimes won't work when I'm trying to snap from one line feature to another. When this happens, I just need to hit <ESC> and retry and usually it works, if not I just may need to move the end point of the line close by, commit it and then try and re-snap and is works. Not sure if it's something others have found when editing in ArcGIS Pro 2.9 at all or not?

@WendyHarrison: Yes I figured it out and deleted the message, but guess you must have seen it before I was able to remove the post. It was the single quote that I had accidentally gotten rid of when I should have kept that one part and only changed the other single quotes was my issue...
