Which existing utility network model lends itself to being adapted for reclaimed water? Is there any benefit to trying to fit our reclaimed water system into one of the existing models or would it be better to use the new Utility Network Migration toolset for now?

How is it possible to have multiple Esri Utility Network models in one database? My organization is working to move our geometric networks for water, wastewater, reclaimed water, and stormwater to utility networks. Esri's local government information model schema gave everything unique names to avoid conflicts. However, in the utility network models I am seeing some tables with the same name. For example, StructureEdgeObject and StructureJunctionObject. I do not want to end up with is a bunch of tables with a "_1" or "_2" at the end of them. Is it best practice to deploy each model to its own database or rename all the duplicate named tables?

For the fittings asset groups please add new asset types for common elbow angles such as: 11.25° Elbow 22.5° Elbow 45° Elbow 90° Elbow Our field crews like to know what type of elbow is in the ground before heading to a site to know what to bring along for repairs when the need arises.

It could be caused by a number of things, but here are a few things that come to mind to narrow down the cause. Have statistics been calculated for the mosaic dataset? Statistics for the mosaic dataset are not calculated by default and might affect the color. Does the issue happen when looking at the overviews (small scale), the actual rasters (large scale), or at any scale? What kind of compression is the mosaic dataset transmitting the data in? No compression or heavy compression could result in slow performance. Is Dynamic Range Adjustment (DRA) turned on or are you using dataset statistics? This also might be affecting the color of the images but usually not by making everything a particular shade of color. Is your graphics card driver up-to-date?

@JakeSkinner I got past my earlier issue only to run into another one. Is this supposed to change hosted feature services too? Our SQL Server instance and ArcGIS Data Store are on the same machine and the script changed all my hosted feature services to point to the new server running our new SQL Server geodatabases. That broke all of our hosted feature services. Thankfully I backed up the folders as clearly stated and was able to swap the old files back to fix everything. I am on Enterprise 11.4 if that helps.

I think I have figured out the issue. I just moved to a new computer, and it has the same software deployed on it except I have not loaded ArcGIS for Desktop or the Access runtime. On this new computer I am running Microsoft 365 x64 and the latest .NET 8 runtime. I do not have any extra Access runtimes installed, and I can open Excel files in ArcGIS Pro 3.4 as expected. On my old computer I was having to reinstall the MS Access Database Engine 2106 x64 at least once a month. Without changing any software on that computer, I would get the driver not installed error eventually and a reinstall of that specific Access driver was the only way to fix the problem. Moral of the story folks is stop using ArcMap 🙂

I opened a support ticket with Esri and the support technician said that ArcGIS Enterprise is just behind ArcGIS Online. According to the support technician, the option to "Open in browser" should show up in ArcGIS Enterprise someday. He spoke as if Esri had just added the "Open in browser" button in the latest release of ArcGIS Online but it has been there since Survey123 launched. The technician refused to log it as a bug or an enhancement request ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯ so who knows when it will show up in Enterprise.

I would like to have the option to enable a setting to have clauses filter their value lists based on the previously defined clauses. For example, if I create a clause like Department = Parks then the next clause Metric = <Some Metric> automatically filters the metrics down to only the ones associated with Parks. Instead of this I would like to see the metrics already filtered by the department clause

The item ID in the submission URL column in Survey123 Connect is for the hosted feature view and not the parent layer. I checked the web traffic on the Survey123 website, and the website is using the parent URL in all of its queries. So, the survey form is using the view, but the website is using the parent layer.

I just published a new survey to ArcGIS Enterprise through the Web App and that new survey does NOT have the "Open in browser" option. I also just published to ArcGIS Online a random survey template from Esri using ArcGIS Connect. That survey has the "Open in browser" option and it works.

As content continues to grow in GIS portals, I think it would be extremely beneficial to be able to define GIS governance policies in ArcGIS Enterprise to help manage all this data. This could allow admins to define rules for life cycle management that are then applied as content is created by specific user categories, groups, or the entire organization. For example, a city planner creates some maps, apps, and services for a zoning case. Once the planner has finished setting everything up and has the items marked as authoritative that starts a clock that after so many days the items are marked for archiving (see this other idea https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-enterprise-ideas/add-the-ability-to-archive-items). Then after so many years of being archived the archive is automatically deleted. This is just one example that I hope gets a conversation going. Some other use cases are: control data sharing or exporting checking for and reporting on item details/metadata completeness data review reminders I know many of these things can be done manually or tracked in other software, but it would be very convenient to have it built directly into ArcGIS Enterprise. I think it would also facilitate growth in authoritative data which helps everyone. As the use and content of my organization's ArcGIS Enterprise deployment grows it would be very helpful to have a way to archive content that is no longer actively used but we are still required to keep for a set amount of time. For example, for an event we created groups, maps, apps, a Hub site, services, etc. We no longer need to use those resources for daily business operations. However, we need to keep those items for a set amount of time and possibly review them again at a later date. I would like to be able to "archive" the groups, maps, apps, Hub site, and services so they are no longer visible to other users and the services are no longer consuming resources on our servers. Then if we need to access the items again, they can simply be reinstated since all the data is still there.
