The #3 request is because I have having trouble using dynamic date filters to limit what the public sees. I cannot find a way to set a dynamic date filter on the view definition and when I set a dynamic date filter in the web map the related records popup elements stop working. I have a support case submitted for this issue. My current work around is to use an arcade expression to change the transparency based on the current date. The problem with this is a user can still open a popup of a closure that is not visible on the map. I would like our public layer to start showing closures within 2 weeks of the closure starting and stop showing after the closure day is over. ... View more

Did you publish the services manually through ArcGIS Pro or by using Bulk Publishing? If you published through ArcGIS Pro, the service name is what you type into the Service Name field when publishing but the layer name is what is set in the Contents pane in ArcGIS Pro. If you are using Bulk Publishing, it uses whatever the name of the feature class is in the database. You might be able to open the layer in ArcGIS Pro using the same connection that the Bulk Publishing uses, change the layer name to what you want it to be and overwrite the Bulk Published service. It would be nice to be able to set the "default" split policy for newly created domains. I want the "default" policy to be duplicating the values instead of using the default value of the field. Most of our fields do not have a default field value assigned at the database level because it has caused issues in workflows in the past. I also agree that the name Default should be changed to something else. Just see the paragraph above and how confusing that is. Even just using "Field Default", "Default Field Value", "Use Default Value", etc. would help in my opinion. ... View more

@RTPL_AU I found on Esri Community that there is a way to edit a service's JSON to enable duplicating domain values when splitting. So it is possible but it is not exposed through any ArcGIS UI. I do not like doing that way either because it is too easy to mess up the JSON. I do make a copy of the original JSON first as a backup and edit a copy of the JSON in a code editor to minimize mistakes. ... View more

Add the ability to create, update, or delete domains for hosted feature services in ArcGIS Pro through the user interface and domain related geoprocessing tools. I want to be able to manage hosted feature service domains in ArcGIS Pro. Currently domain information for hosted feature services is read only in ArcGIS Pro. ArcGIS Online (AGO)/ArcGIS Enterprise (AGE) allows you to create domains, add, remove or change values, and individually sort values. AGO/AGE will not let you define split or merge policies or run any of the Domains geoprocessing tools. It slows down work to have to jump back and forth between ArcGIS Pro and AGO/AGE when some things can only be done in ArcGIS Pro (using edit tools like trace or split) and other things (add a missing domain value) can only be done in AGO/AGE. It is annoying that using tools like split in ArcGIS Pro cause all of my fields with domain values to become null instead of the duplicating values. ... View more
