Thanks Josh. We are working on this issue. We also noticed the delay between the sketch speed and the rate of committing the features. The solution can be the workaround you suggest or fixing the actual problem.

Thanks Josh We can improve the existing traverse to include features that are missed. If I understand correctly the requirement is to have explicit curve definition dropdown menus instead of using the shortcuts like 90d for delta angle of 90 degrees or 'rb' for radial bearing. Please confirm

Once you publish the parcel fabric to your portal: 1. In the catalog portal use the portal tab and find the Feature Layer you published 2. Double click the feature layer to see the parcel fabric layer (with the blue pretty icon) 3. Select it, right-click, Add to a new map It will add the parcel fabric layer together with all the controlled feature layers while assigning them a default symbology, labeling and so on that you can further modify to fit your business needs. This process is documented in the help doc: Workflow: Prepare and publish a parcel fabric—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation If you are still having issues, call the great technical support analysts who can walk you through the process.

When the original lines were validated against the polygons, vertices were introduced in the polygons. But if you shrunk the parcels to seeds, then created new lines, I would not expect the original vertices to appear. You are welcome to send us a piece of your data so we can have a closer look.

Hi Jamie, When building parcels from polygons, vertices become parcel points. This can cause issues if the polygons have densified curves because you end up with too many lines. But - there is help on the horizon. We are working on the new geoprocessing tool that will merge collinear boundaries. It will be released in a few months with Pro 2.7. For early preview join the What's New session in the Land Records meetup Parcel Fabric Meetup (Redlands, CA) | Meetup (not scheduled yet). Amir

Hello David, I have good news for you: when a traverse closes the misclose ratio will instantly appear at the bottom of the traverse pane (1). You can set the misclose tolerance in the traverse options (2) - that will determine when the traverse automatically closes but you also have the option to force it to close by checking the checkbox. When you use the parcel fabric the misclose information and the calculated areas are written to the parcel and you can use it for quality control.

Thanks for sharing. Every use case is valid so: 1. Would be willing to describe and promote your idea in this meetup Parcel Fabric Ideas and Licensing clarifications | Meetup? 2. Interim solution - the records' geometry can also be created manually(until we have a solution). The question at hand is: 1. Do we want the records' geometry to also include the retired parcels? no harm in that since they usually overlap anyhow. 2. It seems there is no need for the ParcelCount to include retired parcels (please correct if wrong)

Thanks for the clarification Josh, The lease was originally created by record A which I assume has the correct record footprint and parcel count. Now, record B is retiring the lease. So isn't it correct that record B created 0 parcels (ParcelCount=0) and therefore should have no geometry? How are you using the records geometry? Do you need to know how many parcels each record retired? if yes - for what purpose? QA against a business system? When we implement user interface for parcel lineage we can expose how many parcels (and which) each record created and retired. thx .

Instead of using 'Build in Active Record' command, you might want to use the following workflow: 1. Create the retiring record (it will be Active now) 2. From the tool gallery choose the 'Set Historic' command This will retire the selected lease that is terminated. Would this work?
