We initially thought about supporting it to teach the use of arcpy (python).

We know many Geoprocessing tools have derived outputs (new feature class, new feature layer) that can be consumed in a subsequent step (but might not exist during the task design time).

Embedding pictures and/or videos can get complicated... where are those stored? what formats are supported? encodings? players? size setting and constraints, play settings, capabilities... but we know we want to support it.

@AllysonReynolds - you will need ArcGIS Pro 2.7 or higher. You should see them in this location (default installation location): C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\Resources\AttributeRules\ParcelFabric\en-US I'll add the rules as a zip file as part of the post.

@jcarlson As you have noted to add a subtype layer you go to the Preset layers and add it. For parcels, we put extra work to make sure that a subtype preset layer is added when subtypes are detected. But we didn't implement that additional behavior for lines, connection lines, and points.

@jcarlson I see two potential issues: 1. When adding a point feature class with subtypes or connection lines with subtypes they should not have empty symbology. Since we are loading a preset LYRX from "C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\Resources\LayerTemplates\ParcelFabric\en-US" we will look into modifying the default layer template. 2. The Merge Point should work with a point layer that has subtypes. How? TBD. Input welcome.

In this meetup session, we covered: 1. Jon McDowell from Clackamas County, Oregon shared his Attribute Rules experience as it relates to the ORMAP group use cases. 2. Attribute Rules shipped with Parcel Fabric version 4 and ArcGIS Pro 2.7. 3. "Hands-on" examples of attribute rules against sample data you can find below. Recoding:

@JeffWard Contacting technical support is probably best to troubleshoot it. Things that come to mind: 1. Are you using a new version of Pro? If yes - did you make sure to upgrade the parcel fabric you are using? 2. What do you see in the editing status? what are the tooltips in the Contents pane editability showing? 3. If you are using the enterprise deployment (services) - do you have the parcel fabric User Type Extension associated to your user name? 4. Is this issue limited to the editing Move tool or are all editing tools fail? We are curious - please share what it was when technical support figures it out.

@MehdiPira1 Yes - this python method would work in ArcGIS Pro. But @IreneHwang is asking for Arcade method. Arcade is a portable, lightweight expression language that is used with Attribute Rules, labeling, popups etc. on ALL ArcGIS clients. Attribute Rules can be set to react to triggers (Insert, update, delete) on the geodatabase level, stored as part of the feature class definition (portable) and without the need to write python scripts that are project dependent.
