I'm afraid it's gone 17:30 here in the UK so I'm heading off, but I'll be back in contact to try more options tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for their help.

Hi Xander, Unfortunately, the link you sent begins with To share a web layer, you must have both of the following: An account that is part of an ArcGIS organization An account that has privileges to create content and publish web layers As such I fall at the first hurdle as I'm not part of an ArcGIS organization

Hi Dan, Thanks for that. Unfortunately the features need to be displayed as original, because they are mapped features that need to be seen correctly. I tried generalising, but it just created rubbish. As for columns there are about 10.

Unfortunately, as a Public user I don't get to use the Analysis tools . If the worst comes to the worst I can live with four layers, instead of two, but I'd like to know why I can't do what I thought I should be able to. Thanks for your help and advice

No, I tried that. I've got the zip file in my content, but then can't do anything with it. The strange thing is that it does seem to be something to do with size because when I split the file in two (north and south) it loaded fine?

It's not an organisation. As I said it's just my private account, which as far as I understand it allows me to create and share as long as I share with everyone. Am I wrong?

Hi Dan, I'm just a private user and can't see any Role in my profile. Since it's just my account I can't think why I'd have any restrictions on loading my data.

Hi Dan, I've replied to the linked thread, but am replying direct to you too. The problem is that, as you can see, I don't appear to have the Publish to Feature Layer check box. Any idea why that might be?

I have two shapes files, both with less than 1000 features, (one c4MB, the other 1.3MB). When I try to add them to my map from file I get an error saying they're too large. I can add them as shapefiles in Content, but then can't create feature classes to add them to the map. Help. Thanks

Hi Rupert, Thanks for that. You can see the original StoryMap setup for the 300th anniversary of the birth of the English landscape designer Capability Brown I used at Capability Brown Aerial Photos | Historic England . The idea is to expand this to enable access to a much wider range of photographs from within the Historic England archive. Does that help?

I have a very large number of images I'd like to share. I previously used StoryMap to share over seven thousand images and according to the general blurb there are no limits to file sizes as it's all in the cloud. I wondered, however, whether there are actually any practical limits to the number of images you can have in terms of processing and refresh rates? Thanks

I'm used to working in Autodesk and then having to go through various routines to get my data into Arc for our GIS so I was very pleased with the idea of the ArcGIS for Autodesk plugin. However, I'm finding problems in exporting topology that will retain my donuts. I can either use the traditional MAPEXPORT routine, which maintains my topology, but doesn't export as a full feature class with any data I've attached using the plugin, or I can simply save the drawing and open it in Arc in which case it has the attached data, but has lost the topology and all the donuts have been filled in. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks
