Is there any news on this bug? I have a script that copies thousands of features, performs analysis and then deletes the copies. When I run this script in the Python window in ArcGIS Pro, the features copy to the TOC (ex. feature_new), and then are deleted. However, each time this happens, another copy with the original feature name and a number (ex. feature_old26) is created in the TOC, and remains after the script moves on to the next feature. So I have thousands of these in the TOC. If I use arcpy.env.addOutputsToMap = False in the script, it fails. ERROR 000732: Input Features: Dataset feature_old26 does not exist or is not supported

I deleted an existing table frame from the layout, and removed the associated Excel sheet from the map's TOC. I then added a new sheet to the map, and tried to make a new table frame. Pro crashed three times when I tried this. I solved it by deleting the table frame and sheet, saving the project and closing it. When I reopened it, I was able to add a new table frame.

Oh sorry, I forgot that I needed to import the Excel sheet that I want to source from and click on it. But Pro keeps crashing when I try to create a new table frame after deleting the old one.

I am having this trouble as well. I've tried removing the table frame, but the option to add a new one is greyed out. I'm stuck with the table frame I have and can't make changes. I've even tried copying my layout to a new layout, but insert table frame is still greyed out

I definitely need this feature. A lot of our services were created by my predecessor. Many of them are out of date and I need to be able to overwrite them, or delete them. I have to wait for out administrator to be able to deal with this stuff, which is annoying for both of us. It's because of this and the convoluted and confusing user types system that I would like to move away from AGOL and fully utilize our ArcGIS Server with the JS API. Just waiting to be able to publish services from Pro...

Ha! Thanks! It would be nice if all of these caching options were available globally, not just for layers inside a project. Just now, my display cache was 1.09 GB, and after I hit F5 in a project, the cache was 1.19 GB.

I'm finding that I have to clear several gigabytes from the ArcGIS Pro display cache every week. I don't understand why Pro doesn't automatically clear the cache whenever I close a project or the program. While this is currently possible for layers, it would be nice to have this as a global option as well, instead of having to set it for layers.

I agree that the display cache needs to be automatically cleared whenever a project is closed. I keep having to delete several gigabytes every week from the display cache. I'm using Pro 2.3. I've posted this in ArcGIS Ideas: https://community.esri.com/ideas/16229

So after sharing this with tech support it turns out that this is indeed a bug in ArcGIS Pro: BUG-000120032: ArcGIS Pro does not recognize XREF layer in the AutoCAD file

This is something that has been bugging me. When using the Select Layer by Location tool, what is the difference between the overlap types, "Within" and "Completely Within?" I'm working on scripting an analysis of the count of 30 sqft transverse hexagon grid cells inside a polygon. I have yet to see any difference in the count when switching between these two options. Ideally, I would like to have a within option with a user defined threshold, i.e. if 95-99% of the feature in the input layer falls within the selecting layer, include this in the selection.

8+ years later and this still isn't a tool?? Come on!! The only workaround aside from using manual editing tools is to convert vectors to raster, rotate and convert back to vector. I tried this with tessellation grids and it resulted in warped/distorted grids, whether run in Python 3 or manually in ArcGIS Pro 2.3.

Thanks. I think I can cut out a bunch of steps here by just using a transverse hexagon grid instead of squares. That aligns to the y axis of the coordinate system.
