Interesting! I'm using ArcGIS Pro 3.4 and see the same thing. In the internals, this is BUG-000126017 - Creating a layer from a mosaic footprint selection leads to the creation of a layer without the remove option. The workaround is to select the layer in the Contents Pane and then hit the Delete key on your keyboard. Not sure when this will be addressed but it's in the Product Plan.

@Kevin_Andras - sorry to hear that AGP is freezing regularly. I did review all the comments in this post and there was not a link to the Can you Run it (AGP 3.4) on any comments. I'd recommend running this diagnostic - systemrequirementslab.com/client-app?refid=1256&appkey=6D681CD0-BA6C-4B6B-9A82-639759CFD094&requirementsetid=23091 - to see if it's hardware related or not. Also, check your video card drivers to see if they're up to date as well. Let me know what you discover - thx!

Sorry to hear this bug is rearing it's head again. So I'm using ArcGIS Pro 3.4.0, exported to PDF and JPG, and did not get an "export failed" warning message. Is it possible to upgrade to the latest version of ArcGIS Pro?

I appreciate your comments and will take it to heart. As a human being, I'm fallible and make mistakes. With regard to the question and digging deeper into the documentation, in the XLSForm essentials help documentation, it does say Google Sheets is an option for authoring XLSForm-compliant worksheets.

I'm sorry you do not appreciate the Esri Support Services AI chatbot. Unlike other AI applications, this one is soley trained on Esri technical content vs. the wide open internet. Yes, it can make mistakes as I've seen this in my specific eGDB questions. Consider it another resource to solving questions but like anything else, verify, and find additional resources to assist answering the question. You may learn more about it here - Frequently Asked Questions | Esri Support AI Chatbot | Technical Support With regard to the second answer, yes Google Sheets or LibreOffice does export to *.xlsx. But the original poster specifically said they no longer have Microsoft Office. So exporting to *.xlsx, in this case, does not answer the question.

There is this tutorial from back in the ArcMap days that does an effective job of creating vector data...but...it's 2D. I wonder if the output from this workflow can then be brought into ArcGIS Pro and somehow extruded?

From the Esri Support Services AI Chatbot - "ArcGIS Survey123 does not directly support the creation of surveys from Google Sheets. However, you can use Microsoft Power Automate to load Survey123 data into Excel spreadsheets and automate tasks when a survey is submitted. This allows for some level of integration with spreadsheet data, but direct creation from Google Sheets is not a supported feature." It did get me thinking if OpenOffice was supported in ArcGIS Survey123 and sadly the answer was no, it is not directly supported either.

I'm glad the manual approach worked for you. Yes, contextual tab. When you click on a North Arrow element in the layout, 2 "temporary" tabs at the top of the ArcGIS Pro application open. These particular tabs are for the North Arrow element selected and they're called contextual tabs. This means when you click on something, temporary tabs for that item open. Hope this helps! With regards to the dynamic text NOT updating. I too was seeing this and believe it to be a BUG. I recommend reaching out to Esri Support Services to work with an analyst and log the BUG. Lastly - thank you for describing your workflow creating this north arrow. I thought it may be a group of elements stacked on top of one another as I created the same north arrow configuration to test the workflows.

So the more I look into this, it seems like the auto-calculate is no longer working (i.e. BUG). I did search the internals for an existing BUG report but they're old going back to 2.6 days. For your MN north arrowhead, if you select it, go the North Arrow->Design contextual tab and type in -15.03 for the calibration angle. Does your north arrow and dynamic text then update correctly?

From the internals and externals, there are a few references to the WMM update that may apply in your situation: Update the World Magnetic Model for Maritime Chart... - Esri Community Use the topographic north arrow (need extension license: Defense Mapping, Production Mapping and Aviation Mapping licenses) ArcGIS Pro 3.4.0 was released November 2024. The new WMM was released December 2024. I wonder if a future ArcGIS Pro 3.4.1 or 3.4.2 patch will include the NOAA update? From my understanding, the Dev team does update this information when released by NOAA. Likely this would also apply to ArcGIS Pro 3.3.x in a future patch.

So for my ArcGIS Pro 3.4 project file with a polygon layer, I used the Dashed Black in the ArcGIS 2D style in the Symbology pane. Without changing any of the Layers Properties for the symbol (see image for default settings), my corners of the polygon show solid corners without a gap. See attached images for the settings of the symbol.

From the Esri Support site: TopoRuleType: This field specifies the type of topology rule that is being applied. Topology rules define the spatial relationships that must be maintained between features in a geodatabase. Examples of topology rules include "Must Not Have Gaps" for polygons, "Must Not Overlap" for polygons, and "Must Be Covered By Feature Class Of" for areas. TopoRuleID: This field is used to uniquely identify a specific topology rule within the topology. Each rule applied to a topology has a unique identifier, which helps in managing and referencing the rules. I did find this ArcObjects Developer Help documentation that lists the topology rules and numeric values that may be of help - - esriTopologyRuleType Constants (ArcObjects .NET 10.8 SDK) Hope this helps!
