Thank you Bill and Alina for following up on this. I can provide you with an update- it appears the "not reproducible in 10.6" has been expunged from the defect and further testing is still ongoing. Therefore this looks to be (currently) an ongoing issue at 10.5.1 and 10.6 (and Pro 2.0+) that will hopefully be addressed soon. I'll ensure to update you when I have more information and/or there are developments with the BUG-000110574 defect. For anyone else experiencing this issue- if you have not already, I would suggest logging a case with Esri Support Services and reference the above defect as well as your system configuration. This will better assist Esri in gauging the number of users being affected by this behavior. I hope this has been helpful and to have more information soon!

From the link provided above regarding ArcGIS 10.6 / User-schema geodatabases: 10.6.x will be the last ArcGIS release to support the creation of user-schema gdbs in Oracle. Upgrading and connecting to user-schema gdbs will still be supported at 10.6.x although not recommended- primarily for performance reasons. It is suggested to plan to migrate current user-schema geodatabases into a master gdb, or individual geodatabases going forward. I hope this is helpful Vasil!

As GIS Support above mentioned- oftentimes the DBMS table not found / does not exist is due to an underlying permissions issue wherein the requesting user (RAFT_EDIT) does not have adequate privileges to read or write to the necessary table. Since in this case, they own the table- I'd try to ensure that if there are any related objects (relationship class tables, etc.) to the SEABIRDPROFILE table- that RAFT_EDIT also has the necessary permissions to the related objects as well. I hope this is helpful!

Hello Alex, Out of curiosity- do subtypes exist on any of the feature classes upon which this coded value domain would be applied? If so- ensure you are updating the domain through the subtypes tab of the feature class. Does the new coded value for the domain show up in an ArcMap document when doing a test attribute edit? In other words, is it only missing from the published service and not the underlying geodatabase data? Finally- is the map service just a map service (only capability) published only through ArcGIS Server or is this a feature service / hosted feature service? Thanks! Modifying and deleting attribute domains—ArcGIS Help | ArcGIS Desktop If the service is a hosted feature service check: https://blogs.esri.com/esri/arcgis/files/2014/10/How-to-Update-Hosted-Feature-Service-Schemas1.pdf

Hello Vasil, Thanks for your questions regarding ArcGIS 10.4.x and Oracle 12.1.0.2. As you mention- yes ArcGIS 10.4.x is supported with Oracle 12.1.0.2: Oracle database requirements for ArcGIS 10.4.x—System Requirements | ArcGIS Desktop Although not mandatory, we typically advise customers to upgrade database client software in step with their database- so as you mentioned installing the appropriate 32 bit (ArcGIS Desktop) and 64 bit (ArcGIS Pro / ArcGIS Server) Oracle 12.1.0.2 clients on the necessary machines. Regarding the upgrade itself- we typically recommend performing an upgrade in a test environment using a backup from the production environment to ensure the workflow goes as intended. Once the test environment upgrade is completed- you can then use the same workflow in production. The typical workflow involves taking a full database backup / dump for safeguarding, and then either doing an Oracle in-step upgrade, or restoring your Oracle backup to the new environment if you are going to a new server environment. Oracle backups—Help | ArcGIS Desktop Upgrade a geodatabase in Oracle—Help | ArcGIS Desktop I hope this is helpful for you!

Hello Doug, Thanks for highlighting this behavior in relation to AD Groups in SQL Server at 10.5.1. I just wanted to confirm from your post- do you currently still have a support ticket open? I believe this behavior is being investigated further and it appears some customers are experiencing issues using AD Group logins within SQL Server geodatabases, although the exact culprit has not yet been identified. It also appears some customers are not experiencing issues after applying the patch with AD Groups so it is likely due to environment-specific permissions (groups / role membership permissions, etc.). This is still being actively investigated and the hope is to have more information shortly. I hope this information helps!

Hello Bill- Thanks for bringing this behavior to light at 10.6. Thus far the BUG-000110574 hasn't been reproducible at 10.6 so this is interesting. Are you able to open a ticket with Esri Support Services so that evaluate this further at 10.6 and update that defect if necessary? Thanks!

Hi Michael- Would you be able to post a screenshot of the attribute table of one of these feature classes / tables from ArcMap as well as a screenshot of what you are seeing when you do a simple select * from xxx; table in your SQL Server geodatabase? Also it would be helpful to see a shot of the field / column list and their SQL stored types in management studio- for example: What version of ArcGIS Desktop, SQL Server, and version of geodatabase? Thanks! Kind regards, Rex

Hi David- thanks for the additional information. Since you are at 10.2.1 are you in the Utility industry or on any of the UTUP patches for 10.2.1? If you haven't already, I'd suggest setting the replica log level to the highest / most verbose setting and attempting a synch to see if any errors or warnings appear in the replica log level as described here: How can I access the Replica log? | Esri Australia Technical Blog and here: The replica activity log—ArcGIS Help | ArcGIS Desktop Perhaps this might shine a little light on the source of the issue. One other question which might be a shot in the dark- do any of these feature classes participate in multiple (2+) relationship classes where the same foreign keys may be shared between relationship classes? For example, let's say we have three feature classes participating in two separate relationship classes but share the same foreign keys? If the foreign key values themselves are not consistent between all three I know there have been issues where this can result in null / missing values after synchronization. However, if all three related tables / feature classes share the same values between the primary / foreign key, the foreign key is not nullified in the child so this behavior is very dependent on the values of the keys themselves.

Magaly, Ultimately, it looks like this might come down to version incompatibility. It appears you are trying to connect / register using ArcMap 10.2.2 to a 12.1.0.2 Oracle geodatabase. Unfortunately, the highest supported version of Oracle at 10.2.2 was 12.1.0.1 as can be found here: System Requirements The first version to support 12.1.0.2 Oracle connectivity would be 10.4 - so if possible you could attempt upgrading your Desktop / Server or downgrade Oracle to 12.1.0.1 and re-test. Hopefully, this is helpful! Kind regards, Rex

To follow up further- a recent defect was logged for 10.5.1 regarding this behavior surrounding orphaned locks. I encourage anyone experiencing this to reference this defect if you contact Esri Support Services. It appears that this behavior is currently specific to 10.5.1 and is not reproducible at 10.6. BUG-000110574: Error “Column value is null” is encountered while accessing the locks information in geodatabase administration window.

Hi Pamela, I hope the re-image fixes the issues you have been experiencing. You mentioned earlier that you applied one 10.4.1 SQL Server patch that you found- can you remember which patch this was? There are two patches in particular that I'd recommend installing for 10.4.1 / SQL Server data consumption: 10.4.1 SQL Server Quality Improvement Patch: ArcGIS 10.4.1 for (Desktop, Engine, Server) SQL Server Quality Improvement Patch 10.4.1 SQL Mixed Precision Patch: ArcGIS 10.4.1 for (Desktop, Server) SQL Server Mixed Precision Patch Hopefully, between re-imaging and applying these patches, you won't experience this any longer. Also- if the issue still persists I'd recommend getting in touch with Esri Support Services to further analyze this behavior. Having the crash dump files that should be stored at the location below on your PC might be helpful as well if this is a known issue. Hope this helps! Hi David- Sorry to hear about the inconsistent replication issues with related records. A few quick questions for you: What version of ArcGIS Desktop are you currently at and what version(s) geodatabases (parent and child)? What DBMS is used for the parent and child? For data experiencing this behavior- by chance does the name of the relationship class match the name of the related table or feature class that it relates? In the past- has the relationship class or related table name been edited or changed since the replica was created? Doing so will make it seem like items are syncing properly- however they really aren't. Have you attempted to remake/recreate the replica with fresh object registration and try to sync to the child gdb to see if the missing records come through? Kind regards, Rex

Hello Magaly- thanks for the follow-up and screenshots. Can you provide the full Oracle version and information as Vince mentioned above? We need to ensure this is a compatible release from which to register. Do you have ArcGIS Desktop or better yet ArcGIS Pro installed on the ArcGIS Server machine? If so can you connect via database connection from Pro or Desktop to the Oracle database (take server out of the equation)?
