Oracle machine is Windows 2012 R2 as is the server for ArcServer. These are brand new VMs that were stood. We did not have this issue in 10.3.1 on different machines. ArcGIS Server account is running with a domain account and it is a local admin I am using EZConnect for the connection string.

Yes, I can connect to SQLPLUS in the CMD window with OS authentication from that machine. And yes, OS authentication works from the machine the desktop software is installed.

I am trying to register our Oracle 12C SDE database with ArcServer 10.4 using OS authentication so I can publish a REST service. I keep getting a 'Bad User Login' error. No ORA number. Here is our current configuration: 1. Oracle SDE at 10.4 2. Desktop at 10.4 3. Server for ArcGIS at 10.4 4. Oracle Client 64-bit is installed on the server that hosts ArcServer If I use a database username and password instead of OS, it works. We've also confirmed that the server can 'tnsping' the database. Any suggestions? Thanks, Mark

I want to be able to use and edit my hosted, secured feature service in the Collector App. When I try to 'Add Item' the URL in AGOL, I am not getting prompted to provide login credentials and/or token to store with the item. Did something change? Is there a better way to add this feature service to AGOL/Collector App? I have an editable feature service published to a 10.3.1 ArcServer with Sync enabled. Thanks, Mark

Determined the cause: Corrupted MXD. We published a new MXD with the same query layer parameters and the times came out as expected. This original MXD had been around for over 4 years and was create with 9.3 originally.

Our time stamps from our AVL feeds are correct in Oracle and in our MXD document. They are in epoch format. However, when we publish to a REST Service, the time stamps are -6 hours off. I can't find any real documentation on how to set time zones in ArcServer or the MXD document. Does anyone have an idea on how to resolve this issue? We're on 10.3.1 for both ArcGIS Server and Desktop. Thanks, Mark

I've confirmed with our IT folks that the firewall is letting everything through. Attached is the error I get in Fiddler.

We are unable to edit a geodatabase in Oracle if we select more than 99 records at once. We get the following error: "Unable to create logfile system tables. User perhaps lacks permissions or resources to create tables." Our DBAs are pretty tight on permissions and privileges so 'UNLIMITED_TABLESPACE' is not an option for standard users. What privileges and tablespace size should editors have in Oracle to be able to edit large datasets? We're running ArcGIS 10.3.1 on Oracle 12c instance.

I am running ArcCatalog 10.3.1 and have a direct connection to an Oracle database. Some of the tables are registered with SDE and some are not. In other Oracle instances I am able to see all the tables whether they're registered or not. I can see all the tables in Toad, but not Catalog. I've confirmed that they have a public role assigned to them. We have other Oracle instances and can see all their tables in Catalog. Just not this instance. Any suggestions? -Thanks, Mark
