yes, it has a spatial index yes, we are versioned and no we never get back a low state count and we do have a large number of delta rows. So this could be the issue. (and yes we know this is a problem... I will spare you the details) I will give disjoint a try Thanks for the feedback

I would like to do a spatial join between points and polygons with st_geometry this is what I have come up with: select sp.OBJECTID, p.parcel_num from servicepoint_evw sp
join parcels p
on (sde.st_intersects(sp.shape, p.shape)) = 1 This does appear to work but it is supper slow... I took over a minute to return one row.

We have an OMS (outage management system), Pragma, that we want to consume secure Esri services. They have a URL with a token on the end in their config file. They application will then use this token for each call the to the Esri service. So, the URL would look something like : "https://our-server/server/rest/services/Testing/OMS/MapServer/tile/{0}/{2}/{1}/256/png8?token=" How do I go about creating this token?

I want to have a relationship between two point feature classes. I would like the destination feature to be deleted if the parent is deleted. But I don't want the geometry of the destination to move if the parent is moved. I tried a with a composite relationship with notification forward (origin to destination). This works for the delete but it also updates the geometry.

Okay, thanks. But in this case just the Oracle version will be changing not the version of ArcGIS.

We have upgraded a dev database for Oracle 12c to Oracle 19. We did this by creating a new pluggable database and using the data pump to migrate the data over. Then we give the new database the original database's TNS name and rename the old database. All of our existing connection files appear to be working fine. Is there any need to recreate them? Also, I noticed that this still appears to be an issue at ArcGIS 10.6 https://support.esri.com/en/technical-article/000011653

Okay, I think I got it. The key is to use the class extension from the items xml found in the sde.gdb_items_vw.definition field. In the xml you will find the extclsid or class extension. Once you know what guid to look for you can make up a sql statement to grab the anno classes. with fc as
(select i.name, i.physicalname, i.path, i.definition
from sde.gdb_items_vw i
join sde.gdb_itemtypes t
on i.type = t.uuid
where t.name = 'Feature Class')
select name, physicalname, path
from fc
where extractvalue(xmltype(fc.definition), '/DEFeatureClassInfo/EXTCLSID') =
'{24429589-D711-11D2-9F41-00C04F6BC6A5}'

How can I select all annotation classes with sql in an Oracle SDE? I can get all feature classes (including annotation) with this: select i.name, i.physicalname, i.path, t.name
from sde.gdb_items_vw i
join sde.gdb_itemtypes t
on i.type = t.uuid
where t.name = 'Feature Class'
