Thanks Egge-Jan Pollé I know about the bookmarks - maybe I didn't ask my question the right way. I am specifically looking for a way to modify the location of the "Home" bookmark - where the camera moves to when I press the H key.

I know H takes you to the "Home" bookmark, but is there a way to set this? I occasionally hit it by accident and the camera relocates far away from where I'm actually working.

Thanks David. So nothing then in Dyanmic Text widget? I suppose another way to do this is to hide the widget with nothing selected. Is there a way to hide the widget if nothing is selected?

In the Text Widget/Dynamic Text is there a way to hide the variable and the curly brackets until something is selected? Or a way to write an expression - i.e. If {County} = "" Then "" Else {County}? Seems like this should be easy but I'm not seeing anything. Thanks.

If you have an ArcGIS Online account you "Get Map Data" it will bring a terrain image/heightmap with it. If you have the images you can also do this manually. Its a little more complicated, but you can bring in your own image files, including orthos and heightmaps.

Hey Kenneth. Hope all is well. Here is what I do for my roofs - I have taken several shingle textures into Photoshop where I have desaturated them and made them black and white. Then inside of CityEngine, I write the texture and the RGB value. This allows me to get many different roof colors with only one "texture". Is that what you are looking for?

If your old projects were referencing specific models (i.e. Alder_Buckthorn_Fan_0.obj) then updating the library isn't going to work. All of the previous vegetation models are gone and replaced with new GTLF models. In my honest opinion, I think the CE team sacrificed visual quality for performance. I don't care much for the new vegetation, and a lot of my rules were using these assets so the update has broken a number of my previous projects - littering my landscape with little white error cubes. I wish they had thought this through. I was able to restore the previous models from a backup and have rewritten the Plant_loader.cga and Plant_Distributor.cga to give me the ability to choose with models to use.

I brought this up when on the CityEngine Beta for 2019.1 and was hoping it would be addressed in 2019.1 release but sadly its not - I cannot Cmd-Z to undo inside of CityEngine. I've uninstalled, reinstalled and reset keyboard preferences. I've tried to remap the command in preferences and This might has to be the most critical shortcut key - it makes CGA coding just about impossible. You can see here there is no shortcut key showing for undo But everything looks fine here....and even if I rebind the keys, it simply does not work. Very very frustrating. And I would say makes CityEngine on the Mac unusable, at least for me. Anyone have any ideas?

It would be great to be able to copy/paste cards and pages. Building a complete dashboard can be time consuming. Copy and pasting cards and simply changing the Report variable would be a big time saver. So too would be the ability of copying and pasting entire pages. This would make it very easy to create two similar dashboards - one for "All" and one for "Selected". Right now this has to be done manually.

I would love to be able to have a Rule format painter - being able to select the shape with the rule I want and then to paste/paint it on the other shapes. Similar to the Eye Dropper tool in Adobe Projects or the Format Painter in Microsoft products.
