Maybe this is an enhancement request, maybe this is a "bug" - when distance values aren't toggled for display, the results list is randomized/unsorted. Turning on the distance values solves this, I would think that the list should still return results in order.

Is there a way to control the granularity of the distance slider/radius search? By default it goes down to the thousandth decimal, and it's really hard to get it to the desired number. As a workaround, I've toggled the "Change min and max search distance" option that allows users to manually enter in a number. This works for this current app, but it doesn't work for apps where I want to control the max search radius.

No worries. The view layer sharing was set to public, and the map was viewable in incognito browsing (not logged in) but not in Connect or the field app, so I'm not sure what was going on. I ended up using the parent hosted feature layer since it's a private survey

Hey Glen, Do you have any other troubleshooting tips for this? The linked web map shows up on the browser, but not the mobile app nor in Survey123 Connect map preview. The survey isn't public, but I've made the web map public along with the layers in the web map. Survey123 Connect 3.12.232 Survey123 App (iOS) 3.12.277 Edit: I think I nailed it down to a layer view I was using in the map. Not sure why it would've caused an issue, but I've replaced it and the web map loads as expected in both the web and the app

Not at this time, as far as I know. My workaround is to include context like a footnote in the description portion of the Indicator, or if it's a lot, you might stack a Rich Text element underneath

The map is your easiest, most straightforward approach. The other option is to configure the symbology on the feature layer (under Item Details > Visualization > Change Style). This sets the default symbology if you were to add this layer to any web map and can be leveraged in your List element as well. However if you change the feature layer's symbology in the future, the symbology on your dashboard would also change. Alternatively, you can create a layer view and do the same thing. The benefit of doing a layer view is you don't have to add a map element to your dashboard, but then you have a layer view to manage.

You can use advanced formatting, which requires some coding. See this post: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/ops-dashboard/real-time/pushing-the-limits-of-arcade-in-dashboards/ If you're not comfortable with the coding, then a workaround is to add a map but stack it underneath something else so that you can reference the map layer in the list, but not make the map so visible

Assuming you have a map element in your dashboard and your list is referencing a layer in the map element, the easiest way is to configure the layer in your web map to have the symbology you want to see in the list. Then under your list's configuration options, go to the List section > Line item icon > Symbol. This is also the same area where you can configure what details appear in your list. https://doc.arcgis.com/en/dashboards/get-started/list.htm

Depends how user-friendly you want it to be. Assuming you're using S123 Connect, you can use the uuid() function under calculation. Or you can concatenate a number of fields together (e.g. components of date/time). This post covers both of these options Note from the post: Technically, a handmade Ticket Number is not guaranteed to be unique although in practice, if you build it correctly, it will do the job just fine.

Is this for a new survey submission? If so, I'm pretty sure the answer is no because the ID isn't created until you hit submit

Unfortunately I have a number of apps and view layers tied in, so re-creating the survey and feature service is my absolute last resort. When I pop into AGO Assistant, I don't see the related table referenced in the JSON. But I do see these fields - is it enough to remove all of these from the parent layer?

I have a hosted feature layer that was generated by Survey123. The survey included a repeat and thus a related table that was automatically set up. My survey has broken, and I've gotten to a point of troubleshooting where I'd like to try to remove the relationship. I've already removed the questions and repeat from my survey form. How do I remove the relationship between the layer and the related table?

Do you have to keep the old survey URL and services? If not, I think the easiest approach would be to publish your new survey and append the data from your old survey. During this process you'll have to do some field mapping to match your old fields with your new fields

@TylerBragg2- have you worked out a solution? I'm in a similar boat with one of my S123 forms, but it's not Workforce related. It was created and working up until recently. The odd thing is the data ends up coming through on the feature service, despite the "Failed to submit" error. I've also made a copy of the survey, and that copy works fine, so I can't say it's an issue with the form.

I don't think you can embed interactive content in the Sidecar at the moment. But you can add a Button with a link to your survey (it's the 2nd option in the list when you click the + button)
