In WAB apps created in previous versions of WAB Developer edition that were imported into WAB Dev 1.2, the hints for query widget entries are impossible to read because the type color is the same shade of gray as the widget background: Is there a way to change either the widget background or the type color of the hints? Note that the image shows the query widget nested inside a compound widget that also includes the custom ID widget. When the query widget is a standalone widget (not nested with another widget), the widget background is white so that the gray type color of the hints is readable.

Hi Robert, As you are already working on a new widget version, I thought I would ask your opinion about the following issue. In my viewers, I have a large dynamic layer ("Regional Studies") with includes hundreds of sublayers and sub-sublayers (and even deeper). The layer was added using LocalLayer widget and is turned off by default. All the sublayers are turned off by default in the mxd prior to publishing, but many of the sub-sub layers are on by default. All is good with the ID widget until I turn on the Regional Studies layer, but leave all the sublayers off. Then, when I use the ID widget to click on a feature in an area for which data exists in one or more sub-sublayers of the Regional Studies layer, I get ID results for those data even though the data are not turned on in the Layer List. Steps to reproduce using this viewer: ArcGIS Web Application 1) zoom to Mineral Deposits in Northern Nevada layer. 2) open ID widget and click on something in the map. ID results are normal. 3) Turn on Regional Studies layer. 4) open ID widget and start clicking around on things. Eventually you will see ID results for sublayers in the Regional Studies layer which are invisible as they haven't been turned on the Layer List. Please let me know if I have not made the above clear enough. Best regards, Barnaby

Hi Robert, Yes, that will do the trick for my app. Thanks! But I still like the subtle halo around selected points in Flex. Cheers, Barnaby

Hi Robert, I have a very large service of point data loaded in a WAB viewer. If I use the ID widget rectangle select tool to select some points, they are highlighted (default in light blue color). If I then click on the ID results of one of those points in the ID widget display, it is impossible to see which of the points I just clicked on. The screen does center on the point I have highlighted. In Flex ID widget, the single point I have clicked on in the ID widget window gets a nice halo around it, showing which point I have highlighted: Is there a way to configure the WAB ID widget so that I would get a halo or some such indicator when I click on a ID result? If not, is there a way you could enhance the WAB ID widget to get such an indicator? Cheers, Barnaby

Robert, Can you think of a reason why the ID widget wouldn't work properly when a WAB app is hosted on a forced-https domain server? I have no problems when an app is hosted on http domains... Cheers, Barnaby

Robert, Fantastic work, as usual. Many, many thanks for updating the widget! I'm glad you removed the layer visibility functionality from v1.6 (I was quietly hoping you'd remove it). Best regards, Barnaby

Hi Robert, New widget version works perfectly with WD 1.2. Many thanks! Three down, one (big one) to go for fully working apps in 1.2. Waiting for the new version of the LocalLayer widget... Hopefully Adam (and yourself) can get it to go in 1.2, as the Layer List widget shows the service directory name rather than the layer (service) names.

Ok, thanks for the info. That versioning is a little confusing for users, but once we know the deal, it's ok.
