Hi Alicia Perhaps you can post a few screenshots or describe your label placement settings. Also, I'm moving this labeling question to the Mapping page where this thread should get a bit more visibility. Please let me know if you feel this is somehow related to Esri Production Mapping. Thanks. Regards, Bo

Hi Jim There are many articles available online, such as the one below, however, I don't believe the MGCP program maintains a public facing website. Access to the program would be through the member nations. https://s3.amazonaws.com/gpccb/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/10163229/GP_Dellagnello.pdf Have a nice weekend, Bo

Hi Jim The NGA Content Extraction Specification site can be filtered on MGCP to provide the extraction guide information. https://s3.amazonaws.com/pcf-east-io-aws-broker-2157d01a-51d4-40bb-848b-c814daf9120f/pages/topicIndexByName.html Any other MGCP specifications or documents would be available through the MGCP program. The MGCP data model and map portrayal support files are available with the Esri Defense Mapping product. Regards, Bo

Hi Malik Did you populate the Input Rasters in the Custom options of the Create Rapid Graphic? You could also try testing this map sheet using the Create Elevation Guide Data GP tool in the Utilities folder. This tool logic is leveraged by Create Rapid Graphic for building the EGB data. Regards, Bo

Hi Malik The TM and MTM (former MRG) map templates are specifically designed to use the Zurich fonts, as based on the map product specifications. These templates use Zurich fonts in both the labels, and the map surround elements. Unfortunately the existing BitStream Zurich font sets do not contain all Unicode characters. You may find it easier to manually add the missing characters and diacritics, as separate anno features, rather than customize the entire map template to use the Arial fonts. If however, you do choose to use the Arial fonts for labels, you may want to update only the layer files with Arial fonts, but keep the Zurich fonts in the map surround. Otherwise you would need to manually customize the map template surround elements, such as the legend. Regards, Bo

Hey Tomasz As David mentioned in his Chatter response, "We do have plans to develop comparable functionality to Product Library in the future. We are looking at a modern implementation that takes advantage of cloud storage rather than local databases; however, the details and designs have yet to be worked through, and this is not on the near-term road map."

Hi Geoff We have not yet reached full equivalency for Production Mapping in ArcGIS Pro. This is an ongoing effort. Please let me know if there are particular features you would like to see in the next release. Also, if you are interested in testing the latest releases, check out the Esri Early Adopter Program... Hi Justin If you don’t want the data frame size to change and you would like to display the grid at the edge of the data frame, then you may want to try the data frame grid properties, rather than creating feature grids with the GP tool. The data frame grids can place labels outside the extent of the data frame, which sounds like what you are after. What are grids and graticules?—Help | ArcGIS Desktop Regards, Bo

Hi Justin See the usage note below for adjusting the data frame to the grid. Note that the grid XML defines the grid scale and that scale will be applied to the data frame with the setting below. I've also added a link to a tutorial. Make Grids And Graticules Layer—Help | ArcGIS Desktop If you are accessing the tool from ArcMap, checking the Configure data frame and layout using grid settings check box ensures that the data frame on the layout is adjusted to best fit the created grid. The data frame's coordinate system, scale, rotation, size, extent, and clipping can be altered to match the XML grid specification. This setting is only available when the tool is executed from the ArcMap layout view and is not being run in the background. The default for this check box is unchecked, which will not change any of your data frame properties. Exercise 2: Creating grids and graticules layers—Help | ArcGIS Desktop Regards, Bo
