ha! well spotted. 100 points to Portugal ! 😉 @Merit() is no more. it's supposed to be @Order() when I reworked the Medieval Town those Annotation names were still in beta and got eventually renamed. @Order obviously moves the attrs up and down in the list. cheers ! matt

hi ! I created the whole Medieval Town Example, thus I know it pretty well.. 😉 Creating Interiors in the CityEngine is still quite tricky, so I left this alone in this Example. Main reason that this is tricky since there's some specific interior-oriented CGA operations missing. If you have more questions, lemme know. 🙂

hi ! The Paris scene is not 'geolocated' and thus has no Scene Coordinate System set. This is usually done when importing something geolocated. The default case in with the KML exporter is that there's a SCS set, thus in your case it asks specifically. The terrain exporter does not ask about a SCS, but if it's set it will use it. [We may adapt this behavior in future.] What I'd recommend is that you set the SCS in the scene, then test the exporter again, but note that the position is not set correctly, thus the models will not show up in 'actual France'. 🙂 Does that make sense ?

hi ! it is possible to create tunnel geometries and such with the CityEngine. though it all depends on the data which you have at hand. there may still be things which you can not do yet, but since the CityEngine is still a very young product, we're always interested in what users actually want to achieve. let me know !

hi ! the internal UNIT is meters and by default, the CityEngine uses no 'Scene Coordinate System', thus works in a cartesian coordinate system (xyz). If you choose a 'SCS' for your scene, things should line up. what is it precise which you are after ? let me know !

hi ! can you do a general search on C: and try to locate an error loc named "hs_err" ? if one was created, it is named somewhat like this. additionally, you could try to delete the folder called ".CityEngine". this is a hidden folder located in your user account. can you try this ? please let me know.

hi Magnus .. ah, I know what you want, basically moving components like vertices or edges. sadly, this is not (yet) possible. in CGA, you can either split or move, but there's currently no way to 'select' a part of the shape and transform it. what I'd try is if it's possible to export your data either as shape file (.shp) or openstreetmap (.osm). you'll have to make sure that the width information is stored as actual attributes of the line segments. how you do this specifically in AutoCAD, sadly I don't know .. maybe someone else knows this ? otherwise, what you could try is exporting as dxf, 1 file for each street width. after you have imported them into the workspace and then imported into the scene, you'll have n layers. there, you can set the street widths for all elements in the layers. once this is done, merge all layers into 1 layer and run the clean graph too to merge the graphs. with graphs on different layers, blocks will not be created. let me know if this helps.
