If color and layer both have no transparency, check 'vary symbology by attribute' - eg below. Also check transparency set against any containing groups in the TOC, or a transparent layer sitting on top?

Hi. Try the Stretch raster function - Analysis tab>Raster Functions>Appearance>Stretch. Has the advantage of being fast and not changing or creating datasets, meaning you can safely experiment a bit. Did something similar when wanting to use red/green ramps to show negative/positive difference between two DEMs.

Hi Craig - Pro just chooses the first text field it finds as the display field - more of a 'usability' feature, and not specifically associated with cartographic labelling i think. Good info in this thread: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-questions/what-is-the-display-field/td-p/742001

A Spatial Join might work if the polygons don't overlap. You can specify 'boundary touches' or 'share a line segment with' as match options (but 'intersect' might work too).https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/analysis/spatial-join.htm Alternatively you could try running the Identity GP tool to give the output polygons the attributes of the lines - but may need some intermediate steps eg buffer lines to get polygons, dissolve to tidy things up afterwards. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/2.8/tool-reference/analysis/identity.htm

Hi @GrantCountyGISSup - There are a couple of things to check. Since you brought the layer in via an imported mxd, Pro may have inherited a different projection - check the layer you're editing and the Pro Map are both in the same projection. Also check the layers 'Extent' and 'Domain' ranges are within the area you're editing (can check against co-ords at the bottom of the map window, see below). Third thing could be the spatial index - one is created when the dataset is set up, but you may be adding parcels far away from other parcels in the dataset - meaning index grid is now invalid. Solution is usually to delete or recalculate the spatial index.

Hi Andrea. Am still on 2.9.1 but just tested and my extent default defaults to default.😀 Doesn't persist between Pro instances and can't see a 'remember extent' setting in the options. Might be a 3.x thing.

Hello from Aotearoa, land of the long white cloud, AKA New Zealand. My name is John and I like blueberry muffins, multivariate analysis, and long walks on the beach. I'm also a GISP-AP and have been using ESRI GIS since the 90s. Command-line ARC, watch-files and AML anyone?

Hi Cecilia. Superstition tells me that writing the output to a package GDB might cause an issue. Try writing to a default geodatabase, without adding attachments at first. Maybe also copy the photos to a folder on C:\ and make sure there's a good chunk of free space for the output - a folder of hi-res photos can take a lot of space.

Hi Alex. I quickly tested exporting an Architectural E size layout with World Imagery basemap. It worked, but produced a very big (slow) pdf. Some things to try: export as image, dial back the raster resampling, clear the local cache (options\display), write output to a local drive, try a smaller layout.

Hi Mathilde. It looks like you're wanting to interpolate values for a larger area, using sample values in another raster. There is a Raster Function called Interpolate Irregular Data (Analysis menu, Raster Functions dropdown). You might need to convert your input raster to points (raster to point), but you can then alter the interpolation method and search radius, and get a fast result to check against your expected output.

+1 David and Dans suggestions. There's both a GP and editing tool - the editing tool will let you create points along a line inside an edit session. Very similar but nice and interactive.

Because Pro is clever enough to reproject on-the-fly it can be hard to know when your layer is in a different projection to the map. I'd go back and double-check the projection of the shapefile, make sure it is the correct projection (if none then 'Define Projection' GP tool), then reproject into WGS84. Then export to GPX.

Hi YEMY. Sounds like you want to use the Point Statistics GP tool - under Spatial Analyst Tools/Neighbourhood in the system toolbox. Will probably need a SA license. To get the 4 surrounding pixels, you could try using a Circle Neighbourhood with a map radius just big enough to grab the top/bottom/left/right pixels - assuming your points are centered in the cell - but haven't tested. Otherwise you could use the Focal Statistics tool with an irregular neighborhood (custom kernel file) and use the Sample GP tool to give the calculated cell value back to a point. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/2.9/tool-reference/spatial-analyst/point-statistics.htm

Hi Mina. I notice your dataset has a _neg suffix - are the values in the table negative? If so, you could set the layer to draw features 'at an absolute height' and then specify the depth field. (or if positive, could set an expression to subtract the positive value from zero - so no need to change the table) The second step is to allow below-ground-navigation, which is a bit hidden. Select the 'ground' layer, which should reveal an Elevation Surface Appearance context menu at the top - navigate underground is a check box there.

Hi Andrea. You could temporarily set the 'Read-only' file attribute of the .aprx in file explorer. Right-click the file and choose Properties - Read-only is a tick box at the bottom. Pro gives a [Read-only] notification on the title-bar if you do this, but you'll need to remember to untick afterwards so your tech can open and save changes to the document. 'Save' is greyed out, but not 'Save as'. If it's local data you want to lock - this might also work but probably not recommended. An aprx is a window through to data so locking one wont necessarily lock the other.
