Appreciate the info and link Sveaskog, I accomplished it using the "longhand" approach as I was in a hurry for a solution but will keep this for future reference.

Is it possible to edit or add an extra coded value to uploaded domains associated with a feature service on ArcGIS online?

How can I remove the time in my dates? my date fields are showing the date with a "12:00 a.m." time in my online maps that I do not want.

I'm still creating tiles for labels on certain maps to view on my mobile devices, hopefully not for much longer.

Great, finally labels without tiling. Unfortunately these do not transfer to the IPAD and Android ESRI apps, hopefully there will be an update very soon.

I'm very pleased with the labeling functions now on ArcGIS online but my Arcgis and Collector phone and tablet apps do not show the labels, only on my PC. We use IPAD tablets and Iphones in the field and would be nice to see the labels. Is there movement in an update to accomplish this and a time frame? Sorry with the new layout I can't find the old Collector or ArcGIS app forums to post this question.

Is there a limit now to how many maps you can scroll through on your main web site page? (maps are shared properly) I can't scroll more than 12 using the scroll button to the left and right and our company uses more than this. I can still view them all in the gallery.

Don, when uploading your feature services with labels you also need to check Tiled Mapping. This will consume credits but you will have labels. I should have clarified that. Tim Thanks Tim, this works for now but definitely have to watch the credit consumption.

There has to be a better solution, labels are a pretty basic feature that most users expect. Still a major complaint from members in my organizational account...

One thing that baffles me and is disappointing is that I'll use the same base maps in ArcMap pulled off the internet from ESRI and can zoom in close but not in my GISonline organizational account webmaps, they're the same basemaps and wish I could have the closer zooms while in my GIS online Maps.

Looks like ESRI's inching towards this ability, which is good, this is a huge importance for my organization and the future of us staying with our organizational account.

I have a question regarding attachments, is it possible to update an existing feature service online and keep its attachments? I have pictures associated with a feature service that only the attributes have changed but the photo didn't and I want to update the service and keep the same photos without having to reload or reattach the photos that are already there. I'm using 10.2 with a FGDB.

Thanks, I'll play around with tiled mapping, I have a fairly large amount of credits available. I think the annotations layer would work in small areas but our service area is quite large and would be to cumbersome labeling our entire water network.

Don, do you have an organizational account? If so you can upload your files as a feature service which also uploads labels. All you have to do is open an empty mxd, add your layer you want to upload, change the symbology and add labels, and then upload it through ArcGIS Desktop to your organizational content. If you don't have an organizational account , try this and this. Hope this helps! Tim Yes, I have an organizational account, when I upload feature services, say a water main, my labels are turned on and visible within my mxd but not online when I add them to a map. I also upload multiple layers at a time, in regards to water mains, the fittings, FH's, valves etc.. maybe I need to just upload one layer within my drawing and/or do I need to add lables as text over the mains instead of through the properties?
