Still not working, doesn't create the "Extract Area of Interest" layer in the Table of Contents pane for clipping, I use this quite a bit in ArcMap 10.5.1 so I'm familiar with the tool's prerequisites but just can't get it to work in Pro even after the patch, guess I'll contact ESRI support. 😞

Yea I'm not getting that, doesn't create the temporary clipping layer, downloading and going to install the 20.0.1 patch, hopefully that'll work. Thanks, Gavin.

One more question...when I pick the drop-down and select say polygons, I should be able to go the the data frame and start drawing the polygon area for clipping right? just like previously in Arcmap?

I'm using 2.0 and saw and tried that, but for some reason I can't create a polygon when I try and start picking an area, will have to play with it some more I guess... Thanks for the reply.

Geez, this hasn't been answered yet? I'm missing something also, was use to creating clipping polygon area in Arcmap for extracting data, now I'm confused because Pro, I guess, assumes there already is a clipping polygon to pick?....not happy with ArcGIS Pro today....

We're dead in the water, none of our feature service layers will load for any of our maps, the natives are getting restless.....

Yeah, hopefully 2.0 will let you have more options, I don't want to bring in all the entities in a cad file as feature layers. ArcGIS Pro is a step in the right direction but not there yet for my work flow.

I drop georeferenced cad drawing files into arcmap but in pro it creates features now, is there a way just to bring a cad file in without creating all the new features and have it just as an overlay?

I've been using the Local Government Model for a while for water and sewer utilities and since that part of it has been abandoned I want to now migrate my data to the newer Water Utilities.gdb from the "Water Utility Network Editing and Analysis" solution download, has anyone else specifically done this and maybe offer resource help on where to start? Anything much different than the migration to the Local Government? Thanks...

I can plot fine within Arcmap with no problem zoomed in while using the same basemap, this problem only occurs when trying to print from my gis online web maps using print widgets and not, even deleted my cache in arcmap and my browser thinking it may have gotten to bloated. This seems to be a fairly new problem after ESRI updated their base maps. Thanks Tanya for your response, I may just have to give tech support a call....

Having an issue when printing to a PDF from my Web App that won't show the image base maps (World_Imagery) after zoomed in to a certain scale. Would like for the image base map to print, see PDF attachments. "hydrant.pdf" is about as close as I can zoom and still have a printed background, anything closer and I get "HydrantII.pdf" results. I can print in close in ArcMAP using the same base map (World_Imagery) and image appears. Hopefully I can resolve this as I need close in detail in my prints. Anyone else having this issue using online basemaps?
