Vinay, Yes, I am very interested. Could you please point me the 'python raster type' documentation? Is the 'python raster type' supported by ArcGIS Runtime? or maybe it is a way of providing custom raster support in the future Runtime releases? What version of ArcGIS was it introduced at? Also, samples and more information is always welcome. Thank you very much, Adam

Kerry, thank you for valuable input. I double checked supported raster types by ArcGIS, and in fact I must have been blind not seeing that hd4&5 is already supported. Regards, Adam

Geoff, Actually, the basemap is in 102100 WKID and your data in 4326 WKID. Check what is happening when ensuring the same spatial reference for all layers. Just add as a basemap this service ESRI_Imagery_World_2D (MapServer) which is in 4326 WKID. Do the RPFs appear on the map? Do the align correctly? If negative, coordinate system is not the issue you are looking for. Regards, Adam

David, What I want to say is just that UserCredentials creates and refershes tokens automatically for you on the valid generateToken endpoint. I can only quote the docs: Class Overview Represents a named user credential. User credentials will be used to authenticate against HTTP-secured services, and to generate tokens for authenticating token-secured services. Hope this helps, Adam

Geoff, Regarding mosaic datasets, please refer to ArcGIS documentation What is a mosaic dataset?—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop. Speaking about mobile mosaic dataset, you can create those using this tool Mosaic Dataset To Mobile Mosaic Dataset—Data Management toolbox | ArcGIS Desktop. Referring to the issues with RPF files, I can only suspect it is related to their spatial reference, but without any sample data I cannot say anything 100% sure. Regards, Adam

David, ok, I see what you are getting at. Well, I am not aware of such possibility in ArcGIS Runitme 100.0.0. You can generate valid token at the ArcGIS Online service endpoint , but you need to somehow handle its refreshing and appending to ArcGIS Server endpoint requests, which in fact UserCredentials do for you. Hi Gary, Thank you for great answers. Please, let me elaborate more on them: ad 4545) Indeed, but it is not as not good as competitors solutions like RemoteView or so. Also, as I mentioned, it is not an out-of-the box feature. ad 4607) Is it possible to give examples of these customers? It would be useful. ad App-6b) Great to hear that! What exactly do you mean by saying - through the proper channels with NATO how can we, as developers, have an access to this dictionary? Also, does Esri plan to support COSMO-SkyMed as an Mosaic Dataset item? Any plans for more extensive support for radar data? Thanks, Adam

Hi Kason, This must be an internal issue in ArcGIS Runtime 100.0.0. If you are current on support, you may want to report an incident. Regards, Adam

Hi All, I am wondering what Esri does in order to support more STANAGs in the ArcGIS Platform. Particularly, I am interested in the following standards: - 4545 (no export by default, no support of Image Coordinate System, some issues with tags in the NITF extension) - 7023 - 4607 - 4609 (in ArcGIS Runtime) As App6-B is no longer supported in ArcGIS Platform, when can we expect support for creation of custom symbol dictionaries and rule engine (ArcGIS Pro + Runtime)? Many thanks for feedback, Adam

Hi, You can use for example this code: Raster raster = new Raster("pathToRasterFile");
RasterLayer rasterLayer = new RasterLayer(raster);
rasterLayer.addDoneLoadingListener(new Runnable(){
@Override
public void run() {
System.out.println(rasterLayer.getSpatialReference().getWkid());
System.out.println(rasterLayer.getLoadStatus().name());
System.out.println(rasterLayer.getFullExtent().getCenter().getX());
System.out.println(rasterLayer.getFullExtent().getCenter().getY());
mapView.setViewpoint(new Viewpoint(rasterLayer.getFullExtent().getCenter(), 3000));
}
});
map.getOperationalLayers().add(rasterLayer); Also, please be aware that raster datum transformation is also supported at 100.0.0. Sorry for my previous misleading information. Kind regards, Adam
