Not sure, don't really use Model Builder for these kind of reasons.  I'd probably suggest it's a result of the selection output being an input alongside the iterator but it doesn't make a great deal of sense. Possibly remove any folder connections specifying the mapped path, both in ArcMap and Catalog.  Attempt to add them from drag-n-drop from Catalog to Map, Map catalog window to TOC and 'Add Data'. That sounds like a nightmare.  It would probably involve Export Tile Cache to Exploded format, then reprojecting all of the rasters.  The next step would be recreating the tile cache or tile pack with a tiling scheme file set to NAD83 Cali.
