Not at this time. We needed that tool because Sink Evaluation could not handle large rasters at the time it was developed. Since it now can, we do not use this tool anymore and start directly with the Sink Evaluation tool. Is there any reason why you want to use it? Christine Dartiguenave Esri Water Resources Team

We are not planning to update the basic step by step tutorial. I started doing just that and with more than 250 tools and many options on how to implement your workflows, it quickly became a nightmare to develop and maintain. So now our objectives are to try to document each tool in the Python toolbox itself and to develop some workflow oriented documentation, similar to what we have done for stormwater. We are planning to revisit the main terrain preprocessing workflows and are finalizing an updated stormwater and a new flood oriented document. If there are any area/workflows that you would like to see documented beside those? As for the Arc Hydro training, you can contact Dean Djokic (ddjokic@esri.com). He schedules and teaches them, and will be conducting 2 workshops at the Water Conference next year (on stormwater and on flood). Christine Dartiguenave Esri Water Resources Team

I am not sure about the large black region. Would need to check the data to see what is going on. What is the updated value in there? As for the streams, did you use vectors or rasters as input? If vectors, was there a selected set? Christine Dartiguenave Esri Water Resources Team

FeatureID is created by Create Sink Structures in SinkPolygon. It is the HydroID of the associated input DraftSinkPoly. We are finalizing some updates to the process that will change the way these steps are performed and adding a way to create "Overland Flow Connector" which will link the end of the pipes (outlets) to downstream outlets/inlets/streams/flow connectors using overland flows. Try to use the Python version of the Longest Flow Path for Adjoint Catchments tool under the Arc Hydro Tools Python toolbox. It skips the Longest Flow Path for Catchments step which is problematic for large rasters (memory leak). To support LFP for Watershed, you do not need the LFP for Catchments, only the LFP for Adjoint Catchments. Christine Dartiguenave Esri Water Resources Team

In Arc Hydro, each Drainage Line should have one associated Catchment, so it looks like you have some data issues. The AdjointCatchment tries to "fix" this and keep going until a high number of loops with no changes are reached. This is to deal with large datasets to make sure we do not get out too early. If you do not have that many catchments then you can cancel the tool and look for Drainage Line having DrainID set to Null to understand what is going on and why you do not have the 1 to 1 relationship. If all DrainIDs are null, then your GridID are out of synch. Note that when combining StreamLink and SinkLink, you need to pass the DrainageLine as input to keep its GridIDs in synch with the Link grid. I hope this helps. There is an updated Arc Hydro Pro install if you want to give it a try: http://downloads.esri.com/archydro/archydro/Setup/Pro/ArcHydroPro2.0.12/ However it looks like the issue is with the file apwrutils.py not being found. This file should be installed under you PRO home (e.g. c:\program files\ArcGIS\Pro) \Resources\ArcToolBox\Scripts\ArcHydro. For Python to be able to see the file, the instalationl process also copies the file archydropython.pth which should contains one line with the path above (c:\program files\ArcGIS\Pro\Resources\ArcToolBox\Scripts\ArcHydro) under c:\program files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\Lib\site-packages. Make sure both files exist and that the pth file points to the correct path. Christine Dartiguenave Esri Water Resources Team

No major code changes. However there are a few issues with some of the underlying functions at 10.6/10.6.1. As we are testing Arc Hydro, we are working with the developers to get those resolved. So I would wait a little before upgrading until a “raster” patch is released. Christine

It looks like your registry may still reference an older installation.
