@RobertScheitlin__GISP Thanks for the information. Ironically, this is what I see in another 2.19 app with Identify 2.11. Only These is checked. It is reflected in the config file. "All layers" does NOT appear in the dropdown. Is this example the exception and not the rule? I'm not sure if I did anything differently in either config. The biggest difference I can think of is the app I mentioned the other day I originally built in 2.18 and imported to 2.19 via command prompt. The app in this example came from 2.13 (and imported via command prompt). Both were Identify 2.11.

@RobertScheitlin__GISP Hi Robert. Is there any chance you can help me? I'm configuring Identify 2.17 in Developer 2.19... I have 'Only These' checked... It saves to the config... But the widget still looks like this... Side note - I notice that the widget disappears in the configuration window when I toggle the 'Only These' settings and save. It reappears when I launch the app though. > If it means anything I initially built this 2.19 app with Identify 2.11 and noticed the error there. I then replaced the Identify widget folder and config with 2.17 and I'm experiencing the same thing.

@RobertScheitlin__GISP Should the addition of the height and width work for the Legend widget too? I have an app in which users have requested it be on at startup (I personally don't like any other than the Popup Panel on at startup but that's me). I tried adding the height and width to the Legend and as onScreen widget and it didn't seem to take. This app is 2.13 and in Foldable theme.

Sorry, I didn't realize it was a 3D widget. I've been trying in a 2D app. Thanks for answering.

Out of curiosity, Robert Scheitlin, GISP, have you tried it in 2.17? I can't find the 2.16 SDK and for some reason I'm not seeing it as an option to add to a 2.17 app.

Hmmm, you're going to make me upgrade. I usually avoid that as much as possible. ;>) Do you have an app or demo site with that widget? I'd love to test or see it before I jump into it.

Hi Robert Scheitlin, GISP. I'm trying to test your widget but I'm apparently doing something wrong. This is what I see when I open the widget. Should I be seeing a button of some sort? FYI, I'm in 2.13 in case it matters. Per your instructions for Michael, I've made the following changes to widget.js (note the line #s are not the same as what you posted above): Added line 31 &34-51 Added line 107, commented lines 111-129 (in your example it looked like the end result is my line 109, then 131). Did I miss something or make a mistake along the way?

Kevin MacLeod - do you have a version of this that works with 2.13? The custom widget list indicates compatibility with 2.x versions is or was unknown. I downloaded the code I could find on GitHub and added it to an app but I don't think it's actually taking a screenshot. I did update the proxy line (42) in widget.js to the full path of my app + /widgets/Screenshot/tml2canvasproxy.php.

Thanks for the information. It seems odd that the Layer List inherits the Arcade symbology, and perhaps other widgets (?), but not the Smart Editor. Regardless, now I know how to proceed. Thanks again.

Replying to myself here, but posting another example of what I'm seeing in case anybody experiences this or knows of a work around. In the first image below, the top section (Utility Permits) is the symbology from the feature service. The bottom section is that same data but published as another item/endpoint in the same service, but where every feature has the same symbology (see Utility Permits - Arcade symbology). Each endpoint is added to my AGOL web map individually. In the Utility Permits section I did NOT add an Arcade expression. In the second section I did add the Arcade expression displayed in my original post on 6/26. The second image shows the symbology I see in AGOL based on that expression. Any idea why the symbology via the Arcade expression won't show up in the templates?

Alix Vezina - thank you for the reponse. Just to clarify though, does your example refer to a hosted feature layer? I am working with an ArcGIS Server feature service and not a layer hosted in AGOL or Portal. The web map consumed in a WAB 2.13 (Developer) app resides in AGOL.

Does the Smart Editor widget not inherit or display symbology derived from an Arcade expression in an AGOL map? I have a WAB (Developer 2.13) app in which I'm using the Smart Editor to draw utility permit line features. When I use my AGS feature service as its published, the symbology looks fine in the feature template section (see 'Utility Permits from Service' in first image below). Said symbology is based on field called UtilityType. Since I published the service, the users want to only display line features where an additional Display field value = 'Yes'. So, I've created an Arcade expression (provided at bottom) to only display each utility type when Display = Yes. I then set the symbology in AGOL accordingly. The problem is that symbology does NOT carry over to the feature template section in the Smart Editor widget (see 'Utility Permits'). For comparison, the symbology shows up just fine in the Layer List widget (second image). Is this a limitation or is there something else I need to do? var utility = $feature["Utility_Type"] var display = $feature.Display if (display == 'Yes' && utility == 'Electric'){ return "Electric" } else if (display == 'Yes' && utility == 'Gas'){ return "Gas" } else if (display == 'Yes' && utility == 'Communication'){ return "Communication " } else if (display == 'Yes' && utility == 'Water'){ return "Water" } else if (display == 'Yes' && utility == 'Drainage Tile'){ return "Drainage Tile" } else { return "Not Displayed (No)" }
