Problem with interpolation of a non-continuous variable can be thought of as follows. 1000 people live here and 2000 people live there, how many live in between? 1500 ?. No, these could be two small towns on either side of a large city or there could be a lake in-between. Population, lightning strikes, tree diameter are all examples of non-continuous data that should not be interpolated. -Steve

I understand the problem to be as follows. We have two rasters each with a cell size of 0.5 meters and when subtracting them from each other we see differences of 50 meters.

The interpolation tools in the Spatial Analyst toolset and those in the Geostatistical Analyst toolset have some overlap in behavior, for example; Output Extent (Environment setting) - use all the input features and restrict the output to this extent. Mask (Environment setting) - limit predictions to the area defined by the Mask. Coincident Points (Environment setting) and Parallel Processing Factor (Environment setting) only applies to the tools in the Geostatistical Analyst toolset. -Steve

Run the AddXY tool on the data and then look at the values in the newly created fields, viz., Point_X and Point_Y, do they look out of place, like Dan suggested i.e. 0,0 -Steve

Your Data type parameter is set to Contour, rather change this to SPOT if your primary input = points.Also, have you looked at any of the diagnostic outputs, I see that all these are empty in screenshot 34. Ie. see Evaluating output in How Topo to Raster works—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop -Steve

Have a look at Vector Field Rendering and you may want to Reclass the flow direction raster so that the 1,2,4,8 etc are directions... Also have a look at Displaying Speed and Direction Symbology from U and V vectors -Steve

TopoToRaster uses an iterative spline technique to primarily create DEMs and is not an exact interpolator. See Deterministic methods for spatial interpolation -Steve
