Hi Yongwei I got some response that the tpk should be build until scale of 300M or so. I tried this but still gets an error that the schema does not match. If you can find a schema (XML file for the GP that create the cache) that will make it work it will be great. Thanks

Hi Noah That is a great answer that makes everything clear. We have some problem creating our basic enterprise machine. Below you can see the parameter file and the error. Note that we use North Europe I opened a call on this but I think it will take time since it is 4th of July. If you (or anybody else) have an immediate answer it will be great. Have a nice holiday!! We are using the cloud builder for Azure. We tried to install the enterprise first (1 machine) Then we will try to add 3 more temporal machines and finaly install 3 GeoAnalytics machine and connect them to the first machine. Is that correct? Thanks

Hi all We would like to do our first GeoAnalytics install in Azure. We looked at the help/youtube/slides but still have a few questions (we would like to do it right the first time). I would like some feedback about my ideas. 1) We need the basic installation that still shows the way it works. We should have 7 machines (portal, 3 GeoAnalytics, 3 temporal). 2) In the builder we select the GeoAnalytics option, we do not start with enterprise and then go to GeoAnalytics. 3) What do we set in the number of machine? 3 machine? then where is the portal? Do we need to add the other 3 temporal machine later - how do we create the 7 machine configuration (or is there a better configuration). 4) Is the Pro installed as part of the configuration if we like to use it to run the GeoAnalytics? Thanks Mody

Hi Amony It works on my machine where the pro already configured to use float but not on the other machine when it is configured to use AGOL. I tried SEAT_PREFERENCE_PRO=Float but it does not work. What is the var name for this? Thanks

We have a lab where students can login on any machine. They randomly redirect to one of Citrix servers and would like to use Pro with concurrent license. Each time a student login they gets a clean machine (they can save data to network drive but cannot install anything). The registry key for the license is per user (Unlike ArcMap where it is for local machine). I could not find any environment variable that can overwrite registry (unlike ARCGIS_LICENSE_FILE for ArcMap). Is there anyway to do it without the need to set the license again when you login? Maybe a batch file that will set the user registry key when login? Thanks

The first thing is to make sure no values was changed. You do this by identify a few points when both rasters are visible and the identify option is visible layers. Then you need to transfer the symbology. I found the easiest way to do it is to save lyr file from the original image and set the data source to the new one. Have Fun

Hi All When you try to jump to a new coordinates it uses locator in AGOL. I understand it can be done with local portal/server (how?). Is there any way to do it without any server, maybe with the API? It is very simple functionality Thanks

The license is by machine name, user and display. When they all the same it takes just one license. Sometime if you work with remote desktop two ArcMap processes gets different display and take two license. Are you working localy on the machine or with remote?

Hello all In ArcObject when you run a gp tool it has it's own class where each parameter is a class property. It makes your code easier to read and maintain (you do not need to give parameter in order and to remember what is the 3rd parameter, etc.) I could not find such option in Pro SDK. Is it possible or planed for some next release? Thanks

+1 from me too. Just like ArcGIS let you create an ArcMap button or raster function in Python just to make it easier it will be nice to have a framework to write a processor, instead of calling Java program, to do something with the event (filter, create alert, etc) it can be easier to do it in Python (Java is less common for ArcGIS programmers)
