The issue we were having was related to a web map we had embedded in the ExB. Something about the screen resolution would not allow the layer or base map widgets to properly open on some computers. Once users wanted some additional functionality, we took that same web map and put it into its own ExB. Our final product had an ExB embedded in an ExB and the map worked the way it should.

I never had to fully dig into the dev tools as I did notice the screen resolution solved my problem. So there wasn’t an error I could look for at that point.

It wasn’t a specific resolution. All I had to do was tell people that were impacted to make the browser window just a little smaller. But, the ultimate fix for us was to change out the embedded web map for an embedded Experience. It gave us some additional functionality users wanted and solved the ‘flashing widget’ problem.

Hi Bobby, We were using some trial licenses at the time so I can't easily go back and look at the map and the data. Looking back at what little I do have, I believe I used the Full Name column to label. The symbology kept the "AF", but each person's name showed directly above the symbol. Hope this helps! Ashley

I've got the series of these dashboards working at the moment. Only thing I know I did different was instead of grabbing the copy URL link from the item details page for D1, I actually opened the dashboard I was going to embed and let it fully load before copying and pasting the link into D2. Maybe this will hold.

I have a dashboard (D1) which uses a selector in the header to change graphs and maps. D1 is embedded into another dashboard (D2), and is one of multiple tabs. The other tabs include jpgs of lists and an ExB page. D1 works properly when I open just that dashboard. It filters as expected. However, when I open it in D2, the selector isn't working and the data is frozen. D2 was working as expected, but has quit. I have a series of 8 dashboards for a project that are built the same way and all but one are now experiencing this issue. I've tried removing the dashboard and re-adding it, but that hasn't worked. I've tried removing the ExB (it was the most recent change), but that didn't work. Any ideas? Links below. See the GCNs tab on D2 for the dashboard not working properly. You and me both. I didn't consider it until I thought to use the browser's dev tools to see if an error was being produced. Everything worked normally then. That's when I considered screen resolution and that one fix solved the issue on three browsers.

I'm also experiencing intermittent performance issues with Experience Builder, particularly with layers and the basemap in the map widget. When I try to open the layers or the basemap, the tool window basically flashes. I've opened a case with Esri, but no luck so far with resolving the issue. We've tested on multiple machines, on multiple browsers. So far, the only commonality has been the issue has presented on three desktop machines at two different locations. Has not presented on two other desktops, on any laptop we've tested, or any phone we've tested. @SarahSaint-Ruth For this most recent scenario, it is for guidance only. In speaking with the biologist, he figured a circle would be the easiest buffer, but a rectangle would be more representative of the project. He had asked for a circle that covered 18 acres. We've had projects in the past when running transects where it would be used both for guidance and knowing when something fell outside of the scope of the project.

I have a series of 8 maps and 8 surveys pulled into an Experience for a statewide project. The project considers different aspects of all species within certain taxa groups in Alabama. The same species occur in the maps and surveys, so the maps may range from having 50 layers to over 400 layers. Each layer shows the range of a species in the state. The Layers tool in the Map widget is showing for less than a second when the tool is clicked on the published Experience. Through testing, it's occurring in both Chrome and Edge on desktops that are behind firewalls. It has opened without any issue on laptops in the same browsers. But the issue doesn't always happen on the desktops, though it's usually a problem. This is a second version of the Experience after some updates, and the issue didn't occur in the first version with the same data (which was used until a month ago). I've tried removing the published maps and adding them back in, but that didn't fix the problem. Has anyone else run into something similar or know anything to try to resolve this issue? Fabricio, Did you find a solution to this? I am using an Arcade Expression to generate a list of species (common name, scientific name, and protection status) in JavaScript, but have not yet been able to figure out how to italicize just the species name. Any insight you may have would be appreciated. Ashley
