Exp(16) means e^16 = 2.718282^16 = 8886111 You can simply use the ^ sign as in the formula. Note: there is a difference between: [POP_B_SEX]*(1+ (4.33 / 100 ))^16 and ([POP_B_SEX]*(1+ (4.33 / 100 )))^16

As I remember well, the 8307 is an old (Oracle 😎 SRID and replaced by 4326.

can you check the A- and D-tables where the versioning mechanism stores the Adds and Deletes? Although the database does get compressed every night, I suspect these tables still contain the edited data.

The Iterate Files tool has an output format (file) that can not be connected to the Make XY Event Layer tool. Use the Iterate Tables tool instead. See NewModel in attached toolbox.

Great code snippets! One request: I have a lot of tables with fields using coded value domains. Do you have a smart way to retrieve the domain description instead of the code in a row.getValue() request?

Changing the datamodel while people are accessing the data can lead to unpredictive results. Therefore ArcCatalog places a lock while the table/feature class is used. The most robust approach: think, rethink and then create and finalize the data model before using it in production. Changes can be made in a test environment and after testing deployed on the production environment in maintenance time (not during production hours). Another note: all users are connected as schema-owner DBO. You can also create seperate users in the database and grant read/write privileges via roles to the users. Then you can identify who is locking the table and give him a call instead of disconnecting the user.

the message 'schema out of date' can be resolved by using the old command line SDE tools: sdetable -o describe_long
