Usually, this means that you don't have the native libraries associated with your project. It sounds like it got packaged and deployed without the native libs included. Are you using Android Studio?

Hello Manish, Yes, these workflows are supported by ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Android, as well as by all of the Runtime SDKs, since they are functionally on par. It sounds like you are most interested in offline. I recommend having a look at this topic, Offline—ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Android | ArcGIS for Developers , as well as the following Dev Labs: Display a map while offline Prepare your data for offline use The samples on GitHub are also very good resources to help you get started. Let us know how you get on!

Hi Martin, Is there any chance you could show us your code? Is there a reason why you still need to use LocalServer 100.1 and not 100.2? Thanks

Hi Chris, We would definitely be interested in hearing more about your desired back-end server use cases. As Tyler indicated, the ArcGIS Runtime SDK does not have a license model at this time for use behind a web server. (We do understand, however, that this would be an appealing use case and a preferred choice of architecture for Java developers.) Regarding what you can do today with a Java API on the back-end, ArcGIS Server services can be extended with Server Object Extensions and Server Object Interceptors using the ArcObjects SDK for Java. You might find the ArcObjects SDK GeoNet community helpful as well. Cheers, Eric

Hi Norbert, 1) Yes, Local Server requires a Standard deployment license 2) gpkx is produced by ArcGIS Pro. At the current Runtime release, gpkx doesn't work with local server. GPKs are created by ArcMap, GPKs work at this current Runtime local server release. Later this year, Runtime will support GPKX. Sorry for the confusion!

Scenes today (currently at 100.2) only work in WGS84. However, any layers or graphics with different SRs will still work in Scenes. Is there something that doesn't work for you in this scenario?

Hi Norbert, There are 2 ways to perform viewshed analysis in 100.2. You can use the Local Server to run a viewshed geoprocessing task, or you can add an AnalysisOverlay to a SceneView and display the red and green areas of visibility, without using Local Server. The difference is, using the AnalysisOverlay displays the viewshed results in a transient, in-memory only manner. There is no persistence of the results. Using GP and Local Server, you can persist the result. Also, the AnalysisOverlay works today in 3D only. Viewshed (Location)—ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Qt | ArcGIS for Developers is a good example of how to use the AnalysisOverlay approach. For your questions about 2) and 3), you'll use ArcMap to execute the Viewshed tool and share the results as a .GPK. This GPK can then be opened, read, and executed by the Local Server. The Viewshed—Help | ArcGIS Desktop explains the use of the viewshed tool in Desktop. A quick tour of authoring and sharing geoprocessing services—ArcMap | ArcGIS Desktop is a good topic that explains the process for your step 2). Good point about a 'template' being needed for such a common workflow. I hope this helps. Eric

Hi Massimiliano: I hope I'm understanding what you are trying to do. > Before moving on, do you think this is the right solution? Answer: Yes. If you're trying to find out what is currently selected on the GraphicsOverlay and then act on it, you can get a list of the selected graphics through the selectedGraphics property. Then you can get the graphic and change its symbol. Do I understand correctly?https://developers.arcgis.com/qt/latest/qml/api-reference/qml-esri-arcgisruntime-graphicsoverlay.html#selectedGraphics-prop Regarding AppStudio, it hasn't released on top of 100.2 just yet. It will.

It might be null because Runtime Standard can only be unlocked via a license string from a deployment pack. Unlocking Standard from a Named User account is not supported yet: License your app—ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Android | ArcGIS for Developers . Deployment packs with license strings can be obtained through your regional office or distributor.
