Yes. You can navigate to here: https://developers.arcgis.com/en/downloads/ Then, chose the version you wish to download. 10.2 is still available.

Crazy GeoNet. Sorry for the hassles. For any future reference, you could look here, and browse to 'Samples-->Server Object Extensions': http://http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/arcobjects-java/concepts/engine

In what way is it not working? When you say "Custom", are you talking about a custom Server Object Extension? If so, is it REST-enabled?

Sorry, I should have explained better. So, the first layer you add to your map will be a layer with a spatial reference of what you want, 4326. Correct? This becomes the bottom layer, so to speak. Then, add your tiff layers on top of that. Did I misunderstand your question? If so, I apologize.

One way to learn how is to check out this topic: Add a map to your app—ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Android | ArcGIS for Developers. Step 6 shows how to create a layer from a Service and add it to your MapView. Hope this helps!

The first layer that gets added to the map defines the Spatial Reference. One thing you could do is to add a basemap in 4326, then add your local map layers.

Good to hear that you've identified an issue with this file. As far as what else you need to do in your code, there isn't anything else required. Are you able to visualize the raster in your map now? Keep in mind, the very first layer added to your map is what determines your map's spatial reference.

Hi Keith: Excellent question, thank you for asking! The Runtime SDKs are used for building client apps that do not run behind web or application servers. As a matter of fact, (sadly, hopefully someday this will change) using the Runtime APIs in a Server (multi-user) environment is a violation of the Runtime license agreement. It sounds like the recommendation for your use case would be to build and deploy a Server Object Extension (SOE) built with ArcObjects and deployed to ArcGIS for Server. I hope this is helpful!

Hi Torben, It's possible that the .tfw is not being honored by the Local Server. For example, in similar fashion, the .prj file of a shapefile is not honored. If you start with a basemap that has the same spatial reference as your raster, add that basemap layer first to the map, then add your raster, that should help. In a future release, you will add raster layers to your map in a more "direct read" fashion, so the Local Server will not be needed. The Local Server approach today is very very (did I say very?) limited with respect to dynamically adding ad hoc data sources to your map. I hope this is helpful!

Hi David, There is a sample that shows how to dynamically add a raster file (tiff) to your Map, but you'll need to use the LocalServer and dynamic workspace to do this. Here is the link to that sample: Raster Hope this is helpful!

Hello Antonio, The ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Java is not supported on OpenSUSE, nor any other SuSE distro, unfortunately. The supported platforms can be found here: System requirements for 10.2.3—ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Java | ArcGIS for Developers Ubuntu and RHEL are supported and we hope these platforms are viable options for you. Thanks!
